This cottage was a find! Super clean, well equipped with all the necessities and comfortable beds. There’s a beautiful River/creek directly behind the cabin and it was just so peaceful hearing the water flow. Walking distance to restaurants. Plenty activities for young and old. We will definitely be back.
Second time staying at this cabin...IT IS PERFECT!!
Love the location, the screen porch and creek. Its just a beautiful, peaceful, fun getaway. We will be back next year!!!
We had a good time. The rain and flooding slowed us down a bit so we spent more time at the cabin then we planned on doing but still had a relaxing, fun time.
Just the right size for 4 adults. Loved listening to the river and spending time in the hot tub. Was able to walk to the pizza place less than half a mile and it was excellent! It is a pretty steep bank down to the riverto the fiver
Each morning began with a quiet cup of coffee by the stream, followed by a short walk into downtown Gatlinburg. This cabin really does have the best of both worlds!
Weekend get away with a few friends that have not been to Gatlinburg. Our cabin was cozy and warm. Love the flow of the creek. Weekend was not to busy in town like usual. Looking forward to staying with Aung Bugs company again.
we enjoyed listening to the river, and the quaintness of the cabin. we tried to extended our checkout time to a little later, and were told it wasn't possible.
Cute historical cabin built originally in the 1800s was transferred to this location next to the river. The kitchen windows and screened in porch were excellent places to watch or sit and listen to the relaxing noise. Loved the location.
This cabin is just outside of downtown Gatlinburg. We were right on a river with no hotel ahead of us, so it felt secluded and peaceful. Cabin was in great condition, working hot tub, and cool ac.
My family and I enjoyed our stay in this older cabin. It was very comfortable. The fireplace was great on the cold nights. We loved the sound of the river just out the back door.

Reviewer Comments:
really enjoyed the location and cabin was in very good condition.
We walked everywhere due to the great location. Being right on the river was a bonus, although we didn’t find time to fish we did get to watch a couple otters catch some fish. It was a little chilly when we went so the hot tub room was a little cold but we made due, would be nice if there was a heater or blinds to pull down over the screened porch area.

GREAT LOCATION...LOVE THE STREAM
We lived in Bear Cabin for five days and it was one of the best cabins we have rented. It is located nearby from the Great Smoky Mountain NP in Gatlinburg and in a beautiful area, with a rapid river running in the back yard. The two bed two bath just fit us two couples well. It’s very clean with nice kitchen we can cook. Our little dog can work around the cabin. We all enjoyed the cabin and the trip.
