Mulvey Lodge is a shotgun style apartment built in 1925. The rooms are on the left side of the building with a large hall down the right side. The layout is as it was in 1925 but the building has recently undergone an extensive renovation. The 101-year-old building now offers the latest in electrical and plumbing upgrades as well as a modern kitchen.
I think you will find this unique apartment roomy and comfortable for families, as well as a couples get away. It's like home away from home. We are 2 blocks from historic downtown Saint Augustine where you find lots of restaurants and shopping. Also, 3 miles from Vilano Beach or 5 miles from beautiful Saint Augustine Beach. We think that you should be able to bring the whole family including your fur babies. There is a small fee added when you add them to your reservation of twenty-five dollars.

Downtown Historic District, a neighbourhood in St. Augustine, is home to this apartment. Castillo de San Marcos National Monument is a notable landmark, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Anastasia State Park and Vilano Beach. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Francis Field or Treaty Park Tennis Center.
Everything was great and I plan on visiting this property again. Very well appointed with great appliances and kitchenware. Location is close to St Augustine entertainment and tourism activities. Yet a nice quiet street at night!
We had a great time!! The owners were so accommodating when we flew in early and needed to check in prior to the actual check in time!! The house was clean, in a quiet neighborhood, was safe and close to main attractions. Thank you for helping to make our trip for family weekend at Flagler a great one!!
Super cute property that is very convenient to downtown St. Augustine. Very easy checkout instructions. If I am not staying with family in the area, this Vrbo will be on my short list. Thanks for a great stay!
Overall enjoyed our few days in St Augustine. The location of the house was within walking distance to many attractions, shopping and dining. The off street parking was a plus. Great communication by the property managers and owners both prior to and during our stay.
We took our kids to St. Augustine to show them the beautiful city we enjoyed prior to kids. Our stay was everything we could have asked for. The host was very responsive. Directions were clear. The house was spotless! Nice a close walk to historic St. Aug! I would recommend this location to anyone!
Our family stayed to celebrate Thanksgiving together. The property was easy walking distance to all of the Christmas Lights downtown. We appreciated the historic detail in this well maintained home!
A lovely historic neighborhood. Quiet, even with school nearby. Convenient location in walking distance to everything in historic downtown, and a quick, easy to lighthouse, beach etc.

A very quaint shotgun house. Clean, comfortable and very well located. The listing mentioned washer and drier but were neither within the house.
The apartment was so cute. I met the neighbor above the apartment and he was really nice and friendly. We were in walking distance to downtown St Augustine and we very much enjoyed our stay. So much better than hotel rooms. There is a school across the street so the kids were screaming a little bit it wasn’t too bad. I would stay there again, for sure.
This is a great location for adults or families that is very close to Downtown while remaining off the beaten path and maintaining its quiet environment. This is key when staying in St. Augustine! Unit was bigger than it looked in the pictures. Some aspects needed a little maintenance but the unit was great for a long weekend overall.
Party of 4 visitors. Positives-Friendly host & cleaning person. clean unit, good parking in back of building a plus. Towels, toiletry products & dishware available to use. Coffee, cooking/spices etc. a very nice touch and was appreciated. Fridge/microwave/ cooking available.13min walking distance to Historic area a plus. Downside-street lightening poor. The bottom unit only had one bathroom and was rather small. If your a big person/ have a disability in/out of the bathroom may be a challenge. We Loved the old historical building and appreciate them knowing their old homes that were built differently than modern homes. Flooring, walls, & decor could use upgraded improvements not perfection. We like outside chimes but do to excessive wind prevented one of us from sleeping all night. Had issues with TV but it wasn't important to us and we did not contact host but did let her know of the issue. We would recommend staying here though we would prefer two queen beds not one.
