Lower level: the first king suite has a rustic log bed, a daybed reading corner and its own exterior door straight out to the hot tub. Its ensuite has a walk-in shower and a pocket door, so one person can shower while another uses the sink.

Upper level: the second king suite sits under vaulted wood ceilings with views into the trees and an interior window that looks down on the living room (it closes for privacy). Its ensuite has a tub and shower combo for a long hot soak after a cold day out.

Living and dining: vaulted ceilings, plenty of seating and the fireplace make this where everyone ends up. The dining table seats the whole group with wooded views. The kitchen is compact with limited counter space but fully equipped with a dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave, blender, toaster and all the cookware and dishes you need, ideal for easy breakfasts, simple dinners and takeout nights.

The cabin had all the perks! It was a beautiful spacious cabin perfect for us and our teens. Away from the crowd but not far from town. The host was very communicative and helpful.

Summer vacation

Beautiful cabin. Pool table and board games were great for the kids. In a great location, close to attractions and shopping. Walmart/Publix within reasonable drive. Drive up to cabin was steep so make sure you have 4WD or a vehicle able to drive up hill. Would recommend to family and friends to stay.

About the host

Your host

Host profile image
Hi there! I'm Ben, your host for Stags Leap. The Smoky Mountains hold a special place in my heart—I'm drawn back time and again for the hiking trails, misty mountain mornings, and that peaceful feeling you only get surrounded by these ancient peaks. As someone who loves to travel and explore the outdoors, I know exactly what makes a mountain getaway unforgettable: a spotless, welcoming space, thoughtful touches that anticipate your needs, and a host who's genuinely invested in your experience. I run my properties the way I'd want to experience them as a guest—with attention to detail, responsive communication, and a commitment to that 5-star experience we all hope for when we travel. I'm always accessible and ready to help make your Smoky Mountain escape everything you're dreaming of. Can't wait to host you at Stags Leap!

Why they chose this property

Stags Leap isn't just another cabin—it's your mountain sanctuary where modern comfort meets Smoky Mountain charm. Tucked away in the trees yet minutes from all the action, this thoughtfully renovated retreat gives you the best of both worlds: peaceful wooded seclusion and easy access to Dollywood, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge's best attractions.

What makes Stags Leap special? It's designed for how groups actually vacation. Two king bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms give everyone their own space. A game room with a pool table and 60+ arcade games keeps the fun going after dark. And that private hot tub with forest views? It's where you'll find yourself every evening, soaking away the day's adventures under the stars.

The kitchen is fully loaded for those who want to cook, but with Pigeon Forge's incredible dining just minutes away, you won't feel obligated. Multiple gathering spaces mean your group can spread out or come together—whether that's around the dual-sided fireplace, on the front porch swings, or grilling on the deck surrounded by nature.

This isn't a cookie-cutter rental. It's a carefully curated space where every detail—from the K-cups at the coffee bar to the plush towels and thoughtful layout—reflects the kind of experience I'd want for myself. Come for the location, stay for the memories you'll make here.
