Best 3 BR rental in Puntas, steps from Sandy Beach. The Penthouse features top of the line everything. Beautiful original art work, a 1200’ private finished roof deck, pool, surf boards (for rent only to my guests) and rattan/wicker furniture. This is a dream rental for families (pack and play, high chair and stroller in the Penthouse), surfers, SCUBA divers, deep sea fishers, zip line/eco tourist enthusiasts, horseback riders, lovers and golfers. It is located in the heart of Puntas, steps away from Tamboo, Casa Verde and a 1 minute walk to the world famous Sandy Beach. The penthouse is located on the 3rd and 4th floors of a 6 unit development (completed in 2011). Downstairs has a beautiful front balcony (Wicker deck chair, sofa, and table look over the Caribbean). Front door opens into the great room which has a 50” HD TV (set up with Netflix and live tv), hand carved dining room table for4, kitchen peninsula with two stools, a rocker, queen sleeper sofa, a rocker chair, and a hand crafted wooden hutch with books, magazines and dvds. The three bedrooms sleep 7 in high quality beds (a brand new king bed and mattress in the Master, new full mattress in the second bedroom, and a hand built full/twin bunk in the third bedroom); two bathrooms downstairs, washer/dryer, all rooms have large brand new, powerful ACs (although with ocean breezes and ceiling fans you hardly ever need them) and excellent WIFI coverage throughout; the kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, cookware, and condiments. Much of the furniture is hand carved wood and there is original artwork throughout.

The private roof deck is accessed by an internal spiral staircase in the living room, and is 1200+’ sf, with a third bathroom, covered wet bar, gas grill, dinner table that seats 6, chaise lounges, a hammock, love seat, couch and chair set, a sunset bar with four bar stools and a tropical garden spread throughout. There are two hand painted wall murals and additional are under the covering. An additional Router is above the sink in the cabinets and a rooftop fridge is on the corner behind the door. Also included are beach chairs, masks, snorkels, fins, boogie boards, umbrella, frisbee, and a cooler.

This penthouse is perfect if you want to entertain a large group (permission is required, but we recently hosted a 50 person wedding with five-piece band) or just kick back on the privacy of the roof deck. We are within a few minutes drive to over a dozen world class surfing breaks, an amazing under water preserve that offers world class snorkeling, and steps away from Sandy and Pools Beaches. Spectacular waterfalls are a 45 minute drive.

No need to bring your boards if you don’t want to. You can rent boards from the home’s quiver which includes; 9’0 Robert August high-end performance long board (surfteck); 9'1' McTavish Fireball (fiberglass noserider); 9’0 Rusty (gun shaped, great in the big stuff, but also a very floaty fiberglass wave catcher); 7'6" Ashton fun board; a 6’1” Firewire short board; a 5’8” twin fin; 8'4" Ashton; a 8’4” soft top and a couple of others. Roof racks, and wax are also included. These are all high-end personal boards that are available to rent to our guests who prefer not to lug their boards and pay the price of flying -- must be discussed with owner before arrival. There are outdoor board storage racks along a wall for the complex.

Other area activities include SCUBA, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, golf, sailing, water falls, para-sailing, kite-sailing, whale watching, zip-line tours, bio-luminescence bays, horse back riding, casino, tennis, shelling, hiking, jet skiing, great food, and just hanging out.

While the house comfortably sleeps 7 in beds, we will entertain larger groups at the owner's discretion. An extra per person fee will be applied for groups larger than 6. A full size blow-up bed, queen sofa. and a foam twin mattress are available.

We will likely need to water the plants on the roof once during stays of a week or longer.
