About this property
Cedar Island Bay ~ Great Sunrises & Water Views ~ Quiet Setting ~ ADULTS ONLY!
Brand New Construction 2023!
This rental is limited to 4 adults 24+ years old; no babies or children, pets or smoking. Experience water view sunrises and various beauties of nature such as marine life, wild horses and cattle as well as shore and coastal birds!
Open floor plan with living room, large kitchen and dining room - all with water views. Step out onto the furnished front porch, sit back and enjoy the coastal breezes and fresh salty air with your favorite beverage.
Master bedroom is roomy with a king bed and attached master bath with double sinks and a full size shower with two seats. Second bedroom includes two twin xl beds. Each bedroom has a closet, dresser and luggage rack. A second bathroom with full size tub/shower is located next to the second bedroom.
A park-style charcoal grill is available for the outdoor chef in your group. Charcoal provided. Outside dining table overlooking the water is also available. Grill out and share a great meal with water views of Cedar Island Bay.
Public beach/water access, boat ramps and a post office are located within a couple miles. The NC Ferry is located next to the public boat ramp. This ferry carries vehicles and passengers between Cedar Island and Ocracoke. A local store - Islands Choice - is located within one mile and has everything from souvenirs to basic groceries to fishing/hunting gear to ice cream. Cedar Island Wildlife Refuge is also located on the island and includes a short hiking trail.
For added safety of both guests and owners, three security cameras are installed outside; one overlooking the front entrance/yard (waterside), another covering the parking areas (road side) and a third overlooking the side entrance/yard. It is requested that you do not tamper with the security cameras.
If a beautiful and relaxing waterview property with great views interests you, we'd love to share our piece of island paradise with you. If you have questions about Cedar Island and its history, a Cedar Island native and historian is one of your owners and would be happy to share island heritage with you during your visit.
-----------------------------------------------------
VERY IMPORTANT: the property itself is water view. However, there is no direct water access from this property (boat ramps, kayak launches, fishing areas and swimming/beach access are available within 2 miles). For erosion control, there is a large break wall on main water view area as well as large chunks of concrete on creek bank. DO NOT STAND, SIT, JUMP, ATTEMPT TO SWIM, FISH OR CLIMB ON/FROM THESE EROSION BARRIERS! Also, DO NOT attempt to drive anywhere beyond the wooden fence / roped off areas. Thank you!
