Quiet little getaway on the bayside

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Peach Pelican - honest review, stuff to know before you go.There is nothing remarkable about the interior but it is clean, comfy couch, plenty of room, master bath window has a great tropical vibe. The outdoor paint was so fresh and bright. No bird poo or spiderwebs, super clean patio and deck. Pool was clean but no umbrellas or furniture so bring your own. Downstairs has no breeze so consider bringing a fan. Hot tub was not used; strong chemical smell.They have a mosquito system, very nice upgrade! Several security cameras so you might get a weird "big brother" vibe.Boat ramp is right there at the house. Might be weird to some but it really wasn't that bad. There is only 1 door to the home (I'm not sure that is up to fire code?). Door knob to the house kept turning and locking us out of the house so we had to keep our key outside. Gate entry to hottub area was locked and also the downstairs patio door did not have a key to enter either. (Someone had clearly already cut their way in.)Bring lawn chairs, pool toys, ice chest so you can hang out by the pool. View is great sitting by the pool and fishing dock.Lots of opossums at night! Fun to watch but they do dig in the trash cans. Bring your own pots and pans! Cooking breakfast was rough. Also bring kid-proof/plastic plates, bowls, cups, etc.We did lose internet one night (clear sky, no rain) so make sure you have books, ipad games, etc. to get you through. Pet friendly :) we bring our chihuahua and the yard is fenced and the cabin is very clean. No "pet" smell at all!Overall a great weekend getaway if you like peace and quiet. One additional note, only 1 porch/deck area. This is not a morning coffee drinking porch unless you get up real early! Sun rises on that side and it gets very little shade.3 stars for Cobb rentals for security deposit issue. Note: walk the property and video/photo everything when you get there and when you

Great Property... Great views... house had everything that was needed for cooking and relaxing. Will rent again !!! The pool was amazing. Fishing was not great off the dock but we still had a blast.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a great cabin, great location on the bayside. Swimming pool and hot tube were both clean. There is a misquito and spider misting system all around the cabin and property including the pool area that was a major plus. The kitchen is not very well equipped with cooking utinsels so bring some of your go to items if you plan on cooking. The TV at least in the living room is not user friendly, if you want to watch certain things bring your own firestick, roku etc.

Hot tub was hot it was hot outside but we still found time at night get in. Ac was a tad laggy in the early afternoon through 9pm but that's understood with the heat and numerous people inside and in and out traffic. Home was equipped well with ample space. Pier was nice but not many fish. Perhaps a couple of pier lights would help. Overall I give this house a A and would definitely rent again. Beautiful house and great views with boat ramp within 25 yards and was never crowded during our stay. Shout out to cobb for getting pool guy out very quickly.
