Come relax in a house on a hill, with a dock on a lake, and hide away...

Enjoy gorgeous sunsets overlooking pristine lake Ida, while listening to the loons sing. Lake Ida has crystal clear water with visibility exceeding 16 feet. The 4400 acre lake is an exceptional fishery, as well as an ideal recreational lake for boating and other water sports.

This fully furnished lake home is a perfect space for relaxation and rejuvenation for the whole family. The deck overlooking lake Ida provides stunning views of the sunset and wildlife on the lake. Take the stairs down to the beautiful large, flat, beach area. A shallow beach with a long dock is perfect for swimming, fishing, floating, sunbathing, kayaking, etc!
The comfortable home has three bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed. The downstairs living room has a large couch with a pullout bed and extra blankets and pillows.
There are two full bathrooms, one on each level, with a shower and tub, stocked with towels and beach towels.
The kitchen is exceptionally functional, and offers a well stocked kitchen.
Don’t forget to check out the garage!! A detached garage offers a space for FUN! Ping pong, foosball, bean bags, a mini fridge, and more.
There are two kayaks on the beach for your use.

Mother daughter trip

My mom and I have been taking an august trip for the last 34 years and this is one of my favorite places we have stayed. The cabin was very clean,quiet and very relaxing. We would definitely recommend staying in this cute cabin!

Fun lake getaway

House had everything we could need for our family of 6. Lots of dishes, nice appliances, and enough sleeping room for all. We loved fishing off the dock, using the kayaks, enjoyed water sports on the lake, and nice that the location was close to a gas station, restaurants (Leaf Valley Mercantile and Old Mill were both great!), and a boat ramp. Definitely want to try out Carlos Creek Winery and 22 Northmen next time!

Guys fishing trip

Clear lake, beautiful and perfectly clean house

The house had everything we needed in a great location. The game room was enjoyed by all especially the kids! The lake is clear, great for swimming and boating! The house is beautiful and spotless- even better than the pictures show! Thanks for an enjoyable weekend!

the property was perfect. we all traveled a distance to meet for a lake vacation. very relaxing. the steps to the lake could be difficult for someone with mobility issues. lake H2O was perfect temp and it was a quiet clear lake.

Great Family Get Away

Communication with host was excellent; property was as listed including very clean, spacious, and able to easily host 8 family members. Well stocked kitchen and so many fun outside options for our various-aged family members to chose from. Use of outside game room, dock to swim/fish, and kayaks was super. Considerations for others (toddlers/older individuals)--located by very busy highway and lots of steps to get to water. Otherwise--excellent cabin rental option!

Nice getaway

We (family of 4) had plenty of room. Weather didn't cooperate a ton, but it was nice to be so close to Alexandria to have things to do. Plus the garage game room was fun for the kids! The cabin was spacious and the beds were comfy. Updated kitchen made it comfortable to cook meals and just relax and enoy the lake. We'd stay here again. Jenn

Girlfriends Getaway

Perfect place to unwind & relax by the fire. Very clean and tidy. Beds were comfy, 2 were soft, one firm, good for different preferences, plus the fu twin mattress was nice for me (a snorer) s9 I could sleep away from others and not wake them up, ha! Gorgeous view and setting!!! SO close to the winery and not far from Alec, and beautiful to just stay and not go anywhere, as well!

Amazing Property on Lake Ida!

Gorgeous house, very well maintained. Close to Carlos Creek Winery. The back balcony off the living room has the most amazing view. The games in the garage were a huge hit with the teens. The kayaks were available to use, one son took one out and had fun. There was truly something for everyone. Excellent communication with the manager. I could not have asked for anything more!

Lake Ida Gem

A beautiful home on Lake Ida, just as described. We stayed to attend a wedding at the Winery up the road, amazing location! This Home has all you need, owners were quick to respond on the one small question we had. The garage game room was perfect for entertaining grands and teens! We were able to rent a pontoon from a local provider and tie right up to the dock. everything is new and in pristine shape! We would love to stay here again! The road is a little noisy, but the view of the lake and front deck makes up for any bit of noise. Truly a gem of a place to stay!
