The sheets and blankets had a bad smell did not like this. Also had to kill a lot of black spiders.

While our team performs routine preventative pest control maintenance, fall in the Great Smoky Mountains brings a natural shift in wildlife and insect activity as temperatures drop. That said, having an uncomfortable stay or encountering pests inside is certainly not the experience we want for our guests. We are actively reviewing our housekeeping standards and scheduling additional pest inspections to ensure these issues are addressed immediately. Great little cabin for a short stay in Bryson City

It's a small property perfect for a couple. It is a studio, and the only thing that was negative is that there's a high window with no covering and light streams in early in the morning. If you're an early riser, it'll be perfect, but if you're trying to sleep in, you'd definitely prefer to have some way to pull a curtain or something. But I realize that would be a challenge as it's near the top of ceiling. The hot tub was lovely and the views from the deck are surely lovely in the warmer months when things are green. The drive up is somewhat steep, but it's paved, and we didn't have any trouble. It's also super convenient to nearby trails and the city despite being quite secluded. It was a great place for us and our pup to explore the area.

The only complaint I have was the cleanliness could have been better. There was dead spiders and critters on the floors. Also there cob webs through out the house light fixtures, lamps and cabinet tops. The deck needed to swepted of leaves and pollen But after I cleaned up some it was a nice experience. Very quite and the hot tub was awsome.
