Great place to stay and enjoy the northwoods. Pike/Round lake chain was great, little boat traffic and the fishing was good. Looking forward to coming back in the future.
This is the second year we stayed at this property. Beautiful setting, steps from the Pike lake with its own dock, and boat launch. Bill and his son Bill Jr. are wondeful hosts. I highly recommend.
Beautiful lakefront property and a great place to stay. The hosts are just the best. Super friendly and so accommodating . It felt like we were staying at a lake house with family. The lake water was comfortable and vibe is very chill. It exceeded our expectations. If you want to rent a boat you can rent from Moosejaw Resort. The owners there are super friendly as well. Just reserve well in advance to get the dates/ boat type you want.
Great place to stay, beautiful lakefront property, owners go above and beyond to make your trip as relaxing as possible, zero complaints! Would / will be back!
Cabin was welcoming, beds comfy, loved the peace and quiet. The cabin is exactly as described. We greatly enjoyed the fire pit, grill and lake access. Owners were easy to communicate with and answered my questions promptly. Highly recommend. Hope to come again soon!
Our stay was great! Very peaceful location. Use of paddleboat and Kayak was a bonus! The owner was very helpful. The cabin was cute and clean. Would definitely go back!! Rented a pontoon at Moose Jaw and docked at the pier during our stay. The lakes were beautiful!!!
Our stay was perfect! For others browsing reviews, there is a hair dryer, toaster and some leftover spices, coffee, filters etc. The private boat ramp was SO nice!! Our family of 5 was able to spread out in each bed and not share. We had a rain day so we did a puzzle that was there. The kiddos played a board game. The only thing I thought of that I had forgotten was a deck of cards. We will plan a trip back to the cabin when we go back North!! Thank you!!!
What a beautiful property! It was the perfect place to land at the end of our busy days. Well equipped kitchen, beautiful bathroom and carpentry throughout. Our kids loved the secret door to the bedroom. Highly recommend if your looking for peace and quiet.

Beautiful property and beautiful lake. Very clean comfortable house. Loved the finishes and decorating. Great place to relax and unwind. The host was great. I messaged him a couple times before our arrival and he was very responsive.I highly recommend.
This property was exactly as listed online. It was clean, nice and secluded. It was a homey and comfortable little cabin with the perfect amount of room for kids to play. The property owner went above and beyond to let us know we were welcome and was extremely kind and helpful. He even had wood cut for us to have bonfires. We would definitely stay again!
Very nice cabin loft. Clean. Great fishing right off the dock. The onsite boat landing was perfect. Easy check in. Communication with Bill was top notch. We will be booking again. A++++
My friends and I have been coming to the Pike Lake chain for 30+ years for our annual Fall fishing trip. This year we were expecting a few more so we needed more space. The cabin fit the bill.
Very clean and appropriately decorated for the location. Host was very friendly and helpful with a few fishing tips 😀. It’s great to have a boat launch right on the property.
It's a perfect place for a family of 4-6 ! Kids loved playing in the lake and Bill even let us use his 2 person Kayak with life vests and Oars.
Beautiful sunsets and clean lake.
Property itself is unique.. Great hot water and heated floors.. TV and internet worked great!
Only issue was the mosquitoes.. It's seasonal.. So would be nice to have a zapper.. But like any remote locations always carry bug sprays.. we didn't have any concerns overall and had a great time! Bill's pretty awesome with communication and directions for his place(pay attention to this)
The owners sent great information on the home and easy self checkin information. We arrived to a beautiful and clean space. Each day we enjoyed coffee on our deck, watching the chipmunks and other wildlife - all while watching the lake ripples and boats. It was very peaceful and great for the spirit. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a hearty breakfast. Blender, toaster, coffee maker and microwave, plus a full size stove and over. The refrigerator and freezer made bringing in groceries easy to store. There were plenty of dishes, flatware and cooking utinsils. The open plan home and high vaulted ceilings made the home more interesting. There were views of the lake from almost every window. Plenty of plush towels in the new and spacious bathroom was a real plus after a day of exploring. The kayak and paddle boat are free to use and the dock is a few steps away to watch turtles and loons in the water. We loved our stay at Eagle’s Neat and highly recommend it for anyone that wants to enjoy the area but not be directly in town.
The property is nice and the host was very personable. The bathroom is superior to most cabin experiences. The “just okay” is because of the key items that are not in place. First, no toaster. And though one understands not keeping items left from other guests, there was no salt and pepper, no blow dryer, no dust pan or broom…no seating on pier as shown in the listing.
Apparently we should have been in a regular hotel because we didn’t really have the basics to make staying there work conveniently. We found another guest’s underwear laying under the bed, which undermines the idea that it is clean. I’m sure with more experience, this place will improve. Adding motorized blinds for the bedroom skylights would be an awesome addition.
