Very clean cabin, check in and out was smooth and easy. Evacuated FL for the hurricane and was more than enough for us to be safe, cool, and help us try to stress a little less. Owner responded quickly.

Thanks for the great review! You guys were top notch guests!
We used this cabin for our fishing stay at Lake Russell GA. For a fishing cabin it was clean, close to the lake. Great place to stay for fishing, shower, two bedrooms, kitchen, eating table and living room. Plan on staying here next year for another fishing trip.
Came down for a two fishing tournament. Place was extremely quiet and peaceful. Owner was extremely nice and professional, and was able to answer all my questions with no hesitation. We had no service but with the WiFi I was able to message Via the VRBO app. Will definitely stay again

Thank you guys for the great review. You were definitely great guests who I would welcome anytime to stay at my place.
The cabin was exactly as described in the listing. Nothing fancy. No bells and whistles. There was a comfortable bed and the necessities. It was very clean for a rustic cabin in the middle of the woods.

Debbie you were the perfect guest. Thank you so much for the great review and how you left things when you checked out. You are welcome anytime.
We stayed to fish Clarks Hill and Russell Lakes. This is a small rustic cabin in a good location. Not very pretty, but perfect for 2guys fishing. Probably won’t bring my wife😜. Brandon was a super host and very helpful in giving us direction for our first time in this area.

2 great guys here! I enjoyed meeting them and they were definitely some of the best guests I've had! I hope to see both of you gentlemen in the future.
Had a good time but was disappointed with very small hot water heater, couldn't get to large porch from inside, and moldy coffee grounds left in coffee pot. Couldn't even take short shower without running out of water. Was clean and bug free. Great for hunting but need larger water heater.

Brian,
I do apologize about the coffer maker. That is definitely on me for missing that. The water heater is generally fine for the cabin but I noticed a small leak with it Thursday before you arrived. I worked on it and thought I had it fixed. I apologize for that and will replace it so this won't happen again. Thank you for your stay and I left you 5 stars as a guest. If you ever decide you'd like to give my place another try I'll do my best to make your stay better.
Its a cool little spot in the woods. Getting in and out with a large boat wasn't easy, but doable. Make your wife read the listing, because as a man I did not. I just looked at the pictures. There is no dock or boat launch, but there is one next door at Broad River campground. The Campground manager there is cool and let us park the boat at an empty site. They are cool people and will work with you. Bring skeeter spray.

Fishing trip
Overall this place wasn’t bad. Listing is accurate. It’s truly a hunting and fishing camp. If that’s what you’re expecting then you’ll be good. If you’re expecting the normal Vrbo vacation home you’ll be disappointed. I was there for a tournament and pulling a 21’ bass boat. The driveway is tight, lots of obstacles in the yard and the turn around was useless for a large rig. Ended up having to back out of the driveway to the road to get out. Overall a neat place but like I said, if you’re looking for the old fish/hunt camp vibe you’ll be fine. If you’re looking for nice this may not be for you. Things the owner has no control over is the area is as rural as it gets. Zero Verizon coverage but cabin does have good wifi. No where to eat or even get gas anywhere close. It’s remote.

Thank you. That's as honest as a review can get. If you plug in the wifi and put your phone on wifi calling cell service works good. Call or text with no problem. I wish I could widen the turn around but it's not actually on my property so i can't. Thank you again for your stay.
