The lake house was beautiful and right on the lake, beautiful sunsets on the lake. It was nice to be able to take are 3 dogs with us, as they are part of the family
We had the best time and we were even able to bring our boat! With the local boatslip close by made it super easy! Beautiful views and a nice fire pit! More room than expected from the pictures online! We would stay again for sure!
Weather stunk, so having this lovely cottage to hide out in was really nice. The open front room made for a great hanging out spot with the views and warmth to boot. When we had those few hours of sun, so having the dock right there for our boats, plus the room to park the trailers!! Wicked nice! Well worth staying.
The property and home were very nice. A few too many trees blocked what would have otherwise been an amazing view but overall a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. We especially enjoyed the use of the provided kayaks and the campfires in the back yard. The owners were very responsive and accommodating.
We booked this spot to watch the solar eclipse and it was perfect for our family. The hosts were amazing and even stocked us with some solar glasses that came in handy. The house is beautiful and the lake views were perfect. Thanks for a great stay!
Everything was as described! We had a wonderful weekend together. The house has everything we needed and was so quiet and comfortable! We enjoyed the beautifu views and breeze from the lake. The beds were heavenly.
We enjoyed our stay at Oneida lake. Cottage was as listed. Kitchen was the best equipped kitchen we have had at a VRBO stay. Cottage was clean and set up very nicely Loved the porch and views.
This family trip was outstanding! Your home was very clean and spacious we had no problem with the wheel chair inside at all, we had such a great time fishing and sitting by the fire making s’mores and the bedrooms were so cozy and let’s not forget the amazing view, we will book this house again for sure.
Thank you so much for letting us use your beautiful home.
We could not have found a more perfect place for our weekend getaway! The home was extremely clean, nice crisp linens and well equipped kitchen & bathroom. We spent a lot of time in the enclosed "porch" area playing cards and enjoying the wonderful views of the lake. The outdoor space is amazing with various seating areas and a functional fire pit, which we would have enjoyed more if it hadn't been quite so windy. We highly recommend staying here and look forward to coming back in the future!
This rental was exactly as described and so much more! My family and I took full advantage of the well stocked kitchen, private dock, and relaxing, quiet backyard with gorgeous views of the lake. Cassie was very responsive and helpful during the booking process for our long awaited 4th of July vacation. A grill was not on premises when we arrived and they delivered one during our stay to make sure we had the best holiday possible. Keep in mind, the rental is located in a rural location on the Northside of the lake however we had little desire to leave once there!
I booked this home to get away from the daily grind of being a nonprofit leader, busy mom, and wife. My only goal was to rest and refresh. Cassie's house and property helped me accomplish that. It was beautiful, full of character, well-equipped, and had stunning views of the lake. Wildlife was plentiful and entertaining and the weather was fantastic even when raining. This home is worth the 45 minute drive from Syracuse. As with any vrbo, I found a few things that needed to be addressed, but Cassie was on it without delay. I'll definitely return to this little peace of heaven.

Didn't actually get the chance to stay
Due to the time of night ad the property no being ready for us, we were not able to go. She was willing to let us check in the same night, we wanted to but we were not able to make it that night.
After a 6 hour drive, I was contacted by the owner at 3:45pm, for a 4 pm check in that the property would not be ready until 5pm. We arrived at the property at 5pm, not cleaned, no cleaner. 5:15pm cleaner arrived, spent 20 minutes "cleaning". The floors were not cleaned, had dog fur everywhere, food left in fridge, dog poop throughout the yard. Never an apology from the owner, not one. I would have gone elsewhere but nothing was available. As a VRBO host myself, I would never conduct my business in this manner, very disappointed in the process. Never will return. The owner should be ashamed of herself. I would have given it 1 star, but the beds were comfortable. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else.
We loved our stay at Oneida Lake. The home was so quaint and cozy, perfect for a small family stay. The Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. The view and access to the lake was great. We were visiting a college for our daughter about 45 minutes away and decided to make a long weekend out of it. It turned out great. Visited some local waterfalls about 40 minutes away and also headed up to Alexandria Bay in the 1000 Islands and went to Boldt Castle 1 1/2 hours away. Used the outside firepit (wood was provided which was a plus) which overlooks the lake. We even had a beautiful sunset over the water to right of the home. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area. The only small issue's with the home which didn't matter to much to us but would like to let others know is that there is only 1 bathroom and the doors to it don't lock and there is no power dishwasher(but that's why we brought our daughter - lol just joking). We had a great time - thank you for letting us make some great memories in your home.
