Newly owned Cabin w/ private hot tub, A/C & covered deck - Dog Friendly!

Come and relax at our family and dog-friendly Reindeer Lodge in the community of Ponderosa. This cozy and updated cabin boasts a mix of rustic and modern charm. It is fully equipped with all the comforts of home. On 2/3's of an acre, you'll feel secluded and have the privacy you need for your perfect getaway.

See deer and wild turkeys daily from the comfort of the private covered patio as you overlook the beautiful pines. At night, turn on the patio string lights and propane fire table for ambiance as you soak your muscles in the private hot tub.

There is a private bedroom downstairs with a queen bed while the upstairs loft provides another queen and two twin sized beds. The first floor provides a perfect space for cooking and relaxing while the upper lofts are great areas for kids to play games, watch movies, or play videogames. The kitchen provides all your cooking needs or grill up some dinner on the propane BBQ outside.

Need to do a little work? Hopefully not, but if you do, the upper loft has a desk overlooking the lower property with a monitor (HDMI Cable), keyboard, mouse, and WIFI for you to use (fed by fiber).

Set just north of Leavenworth, Plain is a quiet and beautiful town just 5 minutes down the road with a delicious breakfast and lunch cafe, wine tasting room, grocery market and unique gift shop. There are plenty of outdoor recreational activities whether it be in the summer or winter. In the summer you can find many hiking trails nearby, find a spot to fish or float the river. In the winter you can enjoy snowmobiling, snowshoeing or and cross-country skiing.

Lake Wenatchee is only an eight-mile drive away and a great place to swim, fish or launch a boat. Stevens Pass is only 35 minutes away, Mission Ridge is 33 miles away or Ski Hill is just17 miles away.

Take the scenic route along Chumstick Highway to the beautiful Bavarian inspired town of Leavenworth which is less than a 25-minute drive. Here you can enjoy traditional Bavarian cuisine, unwind in one of the many local breweries, check out the new adventure park or shop in a variety of unique stores. Throughout the year there are many festivals and local artisan fairs to enjoy.

Lovely cabin!

Amazing place to stay if you’re visiting Leavenworth or doing other things in the area. Super quaint and charming. Awesome back deck with a hot tub. Chill spot without noise and crowds but also very accessible. Hosts were responsive and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again.

Fantastic little cabin! Kitchen is well stocked, good cooking pans and sharp kitchen knives. We didn't need the loft but it sure would be nice if our party was larger. Having a separate hang out place with games and an Xbox is very cool. The grill was clean, which is my first Vrbo that this happened. The cool mornings were perfect for the hot tub. This property is in a subdivision that has walking trails that take you to the river or you can drive down to the river. It was an excellent experience and Stacy was very good at communicating with us. We will be back!

40th girls trip

The Cabin was such a great retreat with girl friends. So many well thought details and very comfortable. I forgot my Fanny pack outside on a stump and the host was kind enough to ask the cleaning lady to look for it and mail it to me. Thankful for a lovely stay in Washington!

Great stay for 2!

I loved staying at this property outside of Plain! It wasn't too far from Leavenworth and was perfect for a quiet getaway for 2. Everything was very comfortable and clean. Heating worked well and we enjoyed having a private hot tub! We were also able to find some hikes nearby and enjoyed time on the trails. I would definitely stay again either as a getaway with my spouse or a family getaway with kids since there is a private room, and beds in the loft.

Quiet and serene

My friend and I stayed for four nights. The layout was great for us, we both could spread out and enjoy our solitude. The beds were comfortable, nice towels and the kitchen was well set up. Sitting out on the deck was lovely with the gas fire.....we even saw wild turkeys! Thank you Stacy and Chris. We bookmarked this cute little lodge.

Not exactly “secluded” but otherwise amazing

This place is immaculate! I’m a cleanliness freak and I couldn’t find anything that wasn’t spotless! The hot tub was perfect, the inside of the house is decorated adorably, and everything was so inviting and fresh. The only thing is the listing said “secluded” and there are neighbors everywhere. Plus, if you aren’t spy, the main bed is hard to get in and out of because of the bed frame. But otherwise, this place is a dream! So cute!!

Great cabin in a nice community

This is a beautiful cabin set in a wooded neighborhood. There is a trail system within the neighborhood and is easily accessible. The check in and out process was easy and the owners were communicative before we arrived to ensure we didn’t feel stranded. Everything was clean and organized, we were very comfortable. The hot tub and amazing deck area was awesome! I’ve honestly never wanted to return to any VRBO or Air B&B before but the Reindeer cabin in the woods is different!

We spent our 20 year anniversary at Reindeer Lodge. We golfed for two days and the cabin and hot tub were both wonderful to. Everything was very nicely detailed and had Everything we needed. Nice cabin with lots of great details

Spent a relaxing weekend here and would enthusiastically recommend it. All of the appliances and furniture seem new and of good quality, including everything out on the deck. That combination of the hot tub and fireplace-table made it good for any kind of weather, and the indoor space is comfortable too, with a spacious kitchen. No shortage of cooking equipment, basic seasonings and ingredients. We got to see a big herd of wild turkeys every day, and the surrounding area has a lot of easy hiking trails and access to the river.

Beautiful holiday vacation!

My family and I flew from Texas to experience the magic of Christmas in Leavenworth! We were absolutely in love with this property. We felt like we were at home! The kids were enamored with the loft, and the hubs was obsessed with the hot tub. There was everything we could need available to us - even a sled for the snow! My one recommendation with small kids would be to have them sleep in the downstairs bedroom where the door can close so the adults can still enjoy the living space freely after bedtime. We loved having children played, cups, and cutlery, available to us, as well as the washer and dryer! We will absolutely come back to this space when we return to Leavenworth. We’re hoping to make this a holiday tradition!

Telework and Cascades Alpine Lake adventures

We stayed 3 weeks and can’t share enough positive feedback. Teleworking during weeks with excellent internet that was effective with two of us on daily web meetings. Hot tub on the deck was a blissful antidote to our active exploration after work hours and on weekends. The property is setup with attention to detail to provide everything needed to enjoy a prolonged stay. The owners were highly responsive and supportive along the way. The location was primo for our intention to get outdoors in various locations in the central Cascades - we hiked numerous trails over the weekends within ~1 hr of the property and weekdays after work we could walk on trails from the doorstep or short ~12-15 minutes drive to Lake Wenatchee. We loved driving down to Leavenworth (~20-25 mins) for Bavarian flair. The extended stay opened up an incredible adventure experience and we’re so grateful to the hosts for providing the base for us to experience all this active fun, and to get to do all this while maintaining our day jobs as working professionals.

Why they chose this property

We have been visiting Leavenworth and the surrounding areas for years. We love bringing our kids and dog so they can experience all the wonderful nature this area provides. Ponderosa and the community of Plain are so welcoming and there is so much to enjoy for everyone! No matter the season, there is always new experiences to have and places to explore. It keeps us coming back time and time again. We hope you will too!

What makes this property unique

Our cabin was built with seclusion in mind. Reindeer Lodge is set at the top of the property on 2/3's of an acre and provides all the privacy you need. You have all the amenities of home and more including the private hot tub, covered deck which is key in summer and winter, three smart TV's for entertainment and the cozy cabin touch you will appreciate.
