This spacious cabin features updated appliances and furnishings. The home is was complrtely remodeled in 2022 with all new furnishings and appliances. One bedroom and one full bath plus laundry facilities on the main floor. Bath features a luxurious a walk-in shower with rain shower head and body sprayers and heated floors. Two bedrooms and one full bath on the upper level. Upstairs primary bedroom has a large king bed, electric fireplace, smart TV. and a river view private balcony. The ski themed bunk room has a triple bunk, 2 twins and a full sized bed, and smart tv. The main floor guest room has a queen bed and a cozy rocking chair for a quiet place to enjoy a good book. Spacious kitchen - well appointed with 3 coffee makers (pot. pod & French press) toaster, griddle, electric pressure cooker, pots, pans, bakeware, dishes, wine glasses, etc... New Frigidaire fridge and range with built-in air fryer. . The cabin is equipped with high speed fiber optic WIFI for all your streaming needs.. Large deck with new (2023) hot tub, outdoor dining and living areas, covered gas grill and Ooni pizza oven. Roast marshmallows over the fire pit or relax in the hammock and hear the sounds of the roaring Wenatchee River. Located just 7 miles from Lake Wenatchee and 16 miles from historic Leavenworth this home is ideally located. You can hike, bike, swim and float in the summer and ski, tub, snow mobile in the winter. This property was AMAZING! The owners thought of everything, including the snore maker for when the burn ban was in effect! There were so many cozy spots to relax outside and in and everything was very clean! We loved the tiny little details like the bird feeders to watch birds and the fairy garden with tons of cute little scenes! We loved the hot tub and the pizza oven too! It was a wonderful place for our family weekend in Leavenworth.

Beautiful Home With All You Could Need!

This was our second time staying, as we love this property so much. There are many little touches that make this a great stay - the yard games, the heated floors in the bathroom, marshmellow station for smores, a well stocked kitchen, and extremely comfortable furniture. Dana is excellent at communicating and accomadating. We will definitely return.

Great family get a way

Great place to escape and enjoy the peace and quiet. They have a little playground not far from the house. The backyard is very serene and quiet. Would recommend to bring if you enjoy the outdoors

Super relaxing cabin stay

This cabin had everything we needed! There was a well stocked kitchen and great decor throughout.We loved sitting on the deck and walking to the beautiful river for a relaxing afternoon. We highly recommend a stay here!

Whiskey River Retreat

We are long time Washington residents. We love to travel and visit places near and far. We fell in love with the Leavenworth area and especially the Ponderosa Community. We are looking forward to making many memories there with our children, grand children, family and friends.

Why they chose this property

After looking for a vacation home for over a year we found this wonderful property. The owner's built this home for their family in 1989 and you can feel the love and warmth that they poured into it from the moment you walk in. We were instantly drawn to it.

What makes this property unique

The home has a open floor plan. Your whole family can gather in the dining area or sit in the big comfy sectional. It is a wonderful place to reconnect with extended family or just cozy up for a couples retreat. The backyard faces the Wenatchee River. You can roast marshmallows around the fireplace and listen to calming sounds of the Wenatchee River. There is ample seating on the deck and around the fire pit.
