The apartment is functional, but no effort was made to make it comfortable. The pictures posted aren't accurate. The couch is old, lumpy, and dirty. No rugs, no pillows, just an old coffee table. There were a lot of little annoyances, no toilet paper, broken toilet paper holder, the sheets and towels seemed clean, but were all stained and old.The rug in the bathroom was gross, stained, old, and dirty. The bathtub doesn't drain so you're standing in water.Unfortunately there's zero sound barrier. You will hear everything happening in the duplex next door, I do mean everything!!! It was extremely difficult to sleep The absolute worst part is the neighbors keep a Pitbull in a tiny, dirty, feces filled kennel outside, which is just feet away from the property. As expected he barks non stop when he's out there, which can be all hours or the day or night. The property owner may not have any control over the situation, but it's still awful for guests. It's both disgusting to witness, but also incredibly frustrating to listen to. There's no peace or quiet! Overall it's just glaringly obvious the owners do not care!Because the apartment is basically functional with a kitchen, washer, dryer, and workspace I didn't give it one star, but cannot recommend staying there. It's maybe just above a cheap motel.

It's unfortunate that Sandra chose to leave this negative review about the property.
Sandra booked a long term 30 day stay and was irritated from the moment she arrived about a dog on the neighbors property. Sandra informed me that she previously was involved in animal rescue so it's understandable she would want good living conditions for the neighbor's animal. However, she seemed to make it her mission to punish the neighbors, calling the authorities, going on to the neighbors property and even having the police threatened to be called. Sandra brought her own animal with her and was in close proximity to the neighbor's dog, which is why there was barking.
We rent this unit to different guests every week, and this is the only time we have heard this complaint. The apartment is identical to our other properties nearby which have 5 star reviews, and it is unfair that Sandra's pet vendetta has brought down our ratings.
The claims about the clogged tub, sheets, lack of toilet paper, etc. are all fabricated. Please explore our other reviews and other properties to make an informed decision when deciding to book. We have been hosting for over 10 years and provide a comfortable experience.
