Welcome to 226 W. Esperanza (Gavin's Getaway), your own slice of waterfront paradise! With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, the property accommodates up to 10 guests comfortably. The open concept kitchen, living, and dining area are located on the second floor and surrounded by windows that provide you and your guests with incredible views of the bay! Cook delicious, island-themed meals in the fully equipped kitchen, stocked with pots, pans & the dishes you will need to serve friends and family. The living area has ample seating for guests in front of a large flat screen TV.

Your master bedroom is located on the second floor and features a King bed, flat screen TV, private bathroom with walk-in shower and private balcony with more waterside views. A second guest room is located on the 2nd floor as well and features two twin beds and a flat screen TV. There is a shared bathroom with a walk-in shower for guests. Downstairs you have the 3rd bedroom featuring two Queen beds with two twin trundles, 50" flat screen TV, a full second kitchen, and private bathroom with a modern combination bathtub/shower (completely renovated in 2024!) This portion of the home has a private entrance off the pool/patio area and is fully equipped which make Gavin's Getaway the perfect island escape for extended families or multiple families traveling together.

The home also offers you and your guests cable and FREE wifi, as well as a brand new washer and dryer!

Walk out the back door to your own island paradise! You and your guests will enjoy sitting on the waterfront deck for morning coffee, mid-day lunch or evening nightcaps! If you get too warm in the amazing South Padre sun, cool off in the refreshing swimming pool that also overlooks the bay, or under the covered patio. Guests can fish right off the backyard day or night, or use the private boat slip for a stress free day out on the water! When you're ready to put your toes in the sand, the beach is just a short walk away.

Every stay at Gavin's Getaway includes a complimentary starter kit stocked with essential vacation items such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, laundry detergent, coffee and filters, olive oil, and basic seasonings. For your comfort, we recommend bringing a few personal favorites such as beach towels, sunscreen, extra blankets, bottled water, or baby items. These small extras will make your stay even more relaxing and worry-free.

Fantastic view

Home is beautiful and well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and deck area. The 3rd bedroom is a little too small to accommodate 2 adults but we made it work. The location makes it easy to catch the free shuttle.

The downstairs apartment is brand new and great, nice to have a refrigerator on the pool level. Upstairs is exactly what you see in the photos, comfortable bed and furniture, will be staying there again

Great property. Fence around dock and boat lift could use some maintenance. Outside of that this is a great property. Super clean and well decorated. Will definitely return. Layout is awesome.

Great time had by all!

Our family had such a great time during our recent trip to South Padre Island! The property was exactly as expected. Plenty of dishes, bath towels, toiletries, laundry and dish detergent. The pool and hot tub were very clean and the kids spent hours swimming, floating and having fun on the slide. The view over the bay was spectacular... especially the sunsets. Fishing right off the dock was successful too! Would recommend!

We liked the accommodations except for the fact that the floors and carpets were filthy so much so my husband got the vacuum out to clean Also luckily we didn't have to use the room downstairs because although you you claim this was a non smoking accommodation it was so smoke infested The refrigerator smelled awful and stunk up the whole place every time we opened it Loved the view but will look for something else next time because of the uncleanliness and deception about being nonsmoking

Great time with family

The house and two bedrooms upstairs was great. The pool and decks were FANTASTIC! We had a great time as a family hanging outside, swimming in the pool, using the slide, the deck on the bay and of course the cooking. It was a great time and great space for us. The bedroom downstairs and the bathroom downstairs smelled like mold. I walked in and immediately had an allergic reaction. It’s unfortunate that I know about mold and the misinformation out there in mold. I told the property managers and they did everything they could to remedy the immediate situation. Unfortunately, to fix this problem you have to clean or replace ducts and sheetrock - which isn’t a quick fix. We didn’t ask for consideration. We stayed and made it work with the best parts of the property. I recommend it.

Went to South Padre Island for the very first time. I stayed at one of the SPI Rentals for Labor Day weekend and it was amazing. Checking process was an easy process and the communication was highly responsive when contacted. The property was spacious, clean, and as advertised. The pool with the water slide was a big hit for all of us(all adults!!!). The location was just a few blocks from the beach and to really good restaurants.
