This was probably my favorite south padre stay so far. It’s right down the street from the grocery store. Like four houses down. Walking distance to beach access. Gorgeous bathrooms. Clean pool. The hosts were sooo friendly. It’s nice to rent from family owned instead of big businesses. Also the parking for this building could probably fit like three/four cars but we only had two.

We had a great time with the family. The house is just as seen in the photos. Location is great! Really close to the beach, groceries and a coffee shop and even an ice cream parlor is just around the corner.A few things that can be improved:1) Front and back doors are hard to close/open due to wood expanding over time because of humidity, this has led to door knobs becoming very loose.2) Hot water in showers is not hot enough (even at the highest temp on the water heater) and it’s intermittent. 3) Water pressure on the downstairs master shower is nonexistent. Barely any water comes out of the shower at all.4) Outdoor metal staircases are rusting, should be addressed to avoid becoming a safety issue.

The property was lovely in key ways- good for family and kids getting some pool time breaks from the beach. Walkable to grocery, cafes, other essentials and the beach. Never got in the car while there! Downside was out of owners control - extremely noisy neighbors until 2-3am. Multiple next door 15-20 person family groups from kids to grandparents with loud music for the entire neighborhood to enjoy, every single night. If you still like reliving the glory days of closing down the club, well look no further We had three littles and just about the worst vacation experience is a sleep deprived beach one. The host was wonderful, the neighbors not so much. Be advised these homes are really close together and some appear to have commercial grade sound systems that can pump it.

Perfect Beach Getaway

We had an amazing stay! The house was spotless, had all the amenities we needed, and a few blocks from the beach. The beach entry was very accessible for our wagons and little kiddos. The beds and living room furniture were comfortable, and the pool was just the right size for hanging out after the beach. Can’t wait to come back!
