We adore this little farm. It is so peaceful and beautiful, with sunset colors reflected in the pond - which you can see from the front porch! It is heaven. The house itself is very nice and up to date, perfect for a large family with children. There’s even a third floor loft filled with toys for the kids. Overall a rustic and idyllic place. Thank you!!!
Our family has stayed here three years in a row now, and we love it so much that we keep coming back. The pond with the ducks and geese is one of our favorite features.

Very comfortable accommodation
We shared Thanksgiving dinner with friends and thoroughly enjoyed the farm. The kids and adults all had a wonderful time.
We were so pleasantly surprised to see how beautiful this property is,with the well furnished large farmhouse and a pond, animals to watch, lots of grass for kids to run in, lots of kid-friendly entertainment. The surrounding farms are just as breathtaking;many are Amish. What a lovely retreat!!
This property was beautiful. The location was extremely quiet. We enjoyed our stay quite a bit. There were some things that should be attended too, for example a several lights in the house didn't work. The game room games were missing pieces (like pool balls and inflated basketballs.). There were cameras indoors facing the front door, and also in the basement. I'm not sure if these were on or not, but it was a little uncomfortable to have them in the main entry as it was the dining area. The hot tub was nice and clean and warm. Overall, it was a nice stay.
This is a lovely western Pennsylvania farm that feels like you are very far away from the hustle and bustle, but for our destination of Grove City, it was a perfect distance. Only 30 - 40 minutes from the northern Pittsburgh suburbs. The rooms are well appointed, and the kitchen has everything you could ask for. The property is really quite beautiful. My only issue is that the water pressure in the second floor bathrooms is insufficient for showering if someone else is using the water on the first floor. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Incredible stay
The pictures of this house truly do not do justice to it's beauty. The house is more spacious than I could have every imagine and the property was out of a movie. The picturesque view from the front porch was breathtaking. The inside of the house was modernized, but still had country charm and appeal. There were 5 bedroom and then another with a futon. The upstairs loft was a great place for the kids to play. The beds were comfortable too. This place is truly a hidden gem. This will be the first place I look when we come back to this area.

Fantastic!
This lovely home on the farm offered more than enough space for our group of eight college students and one professor. We found it not only comfortable and clean, but also a beautiful property with lots of amenities. The students really enjoyed the barn with the pool tables, ping-pong, etc. The rooster is a built-in alarm clock. Though we didn't meet the owners, they provided detailed information about everything we could possibly need. Our only regret was that we didn't have more time to just hang out and enjoy the place. I recommend it without hesitation.
Property and accomodations far exceeded what shows in listing photos. We often did not want to leave the property to tour around the surrounding areas. My grand daughters became acquainted with the Amish way of life as this is a working farm. Amish workers cut hay one day and one day was blueberry picking day for Amish women. We all loved watching the animals. The girls became especially attached to "Mama" duck who was lovingly guarding and tending to her nest of eggs. We did not want to leave.
Fun! Loved the animals, walks around the farm, and relaxed in the rocking chairs on the huge porch. We visit surrounding towns and enjoyed a Westminster College function.
Where to start? Well, from the moment I first saw the listing for this wonderful place, I admit I was hooked. Upon arrival, we could see that this farm far surpassed our expectations for a peaceful getaway and a much-needed alternative to our normal camping arrangements for a nearby week-long event. The amenities listed (that we were initially searching for) – air conditioning, laundry, full kitchen – were outweighed by the home itself, which was lovely and spacious. Each room had its own personality, and the grounds were so beautiful to walk each day that we stayed. I loved that this was a working farm. I am retired and work part-time at a small family-owned farm. Seeing the farm being worked and all the animals being taken care of made me miss my time away from our animals a little less. Sitting on the porch just listening to the distant clop-clop of the passing horse-drawn wagons as we sipped our teas was a peaceful respite. The jacuzzi in the spring house – which had not been a part of our original lodging search – quickly became a wonderful way to relax after a hard day’s work. The caretakers were friendly, attentive, and very responsive. And, after we had left a few items behind, the hosts (also very responsive) were able to return them to us shortly thereafter. Thank you so much for your hospitality! We cannot recommend this place enough!
Overall a very good experience.
Some pesky ants on the kitchen counter were a bit frustrating.
Appreciated owners troubleshooting Wi-Fi problem.
Grandchildren had a great time!
Our family had a wonderful time at the Kaul Farm. The photos do not do the house justice. It was very spacious, with lots of bedrooms and areas to go. I loved hanging out on the porch reading--the view of the pond was beautiful. Our kids had so much fun feeding the ducks and playing in the game room. They started asking when we could return before we had even left. My husband really enjoyed the hot tub, which was super clean. We all enjoyed making s'mores and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit.
The owners were very responsive to inquiries, and people who work on the farm were all super friendly.
Highly recommend!!!

Every time we go we find more to do!!! Great clean place to stay away from city, however it is mostly 5 miles to everything! Almost everything you could ask for is very close by, great food stops, fresh produce, outlet mall, grocery store and Ollie's which is a not to be missed experience. The Safari park is always worth a visit. Slippery Rock, the mill and the McConnell Bridge are all worth seeing. Tommy Turkey is always present to keep guard on the place. The ducks and geese are glad to greet you if you feed them or they will leave you alone if you dont want to feed them. The goats will come over to say hi! The Amish that work on the farm always very friendly. We love it there.
We stayed for a long weekend and January and hope to return for the summer! Thoroughly enjoyed the animals and property. The kitchen was well appointed, beds comfortable, and owners very responsive. It was really great for kids, with toys on the third floor and all the entertainment of the barn. The pinball machine was out of order, but we had tons to do with the pool tables, air hockey, ski ball, and ping pong. Also, feeding the animals was so much fun. The photos on Vrbo do not do this place justice!
The owners were great and let us stay late on checkout day to enjoy the place a little longer.
Also got to enjoy the hot tub in the spring house in spite of the cold weather. It took a while to figure out how to heat it up but it was worth it.
For other guests, would caution that the WiFi is not great if you need to video conference. Would also recommend bringing extra bread for the ducks and geese and some kale or greens for the goats if you like animals.
Would love to return to paddle boat in the pond and see the grapevines and orchard in the summer!
Perfect location for a visit to my hometown. I couldn't have asked for more in the house. Plenty of room for everyone and the barn was fantastic. Our main purpose was to stay together and visit with family so we really didn't leave the property much except for a couple of errands or restaurant outings.
A couple of minor recommendations:
1. It would be great if there was a playground or additional tree swings for younger kids.
2. A restroom in the barn would have been nice so not to have to walk out in the cold or wetness back to the house.
3. in need of some repair, maintenance & upkeep on the barn gameroom equipment. I was sad the pinball machine was broken. We actually replaced a couple of pool sticks and ping pong paddles as some were in poor shape.
4. Unsure about the paddle boat as it was partially submerged on the edge of the pond so not really usuable and may not have been safe.
Overall though it really was fantastic!!!!
I can't wait to go back in the summer!
Family members from 3 different states gathered in this beautifully restored farm house. We were excited about the number of bedrooms and bathrooms and it worked out great! We invited other family members living in the area to join us for New Year's Day in the Game Room (lower level of the barn), that's when it got a little tricky. I wasn't happy to find out that we had to pay $20 each for them to join us for the day, AND put a Port-a-Potty there for the day. That put a damper on our stay, otherwise it would have been perfect.
This place is perfect for meeting family. Everything you want to do is just minutes away. There is a welcome book that tells all information you could need. We added a couple of pamphlets to the book. Owners are super.
