Take out the rubbish

Laundry: Wash used towels. Ok to leave the last load in the dryer.
TV's: Be sure that ALL tv's play tv stations. If guests changed the mode (a violation) make sure they fix this before leaving . The last person leaving may not know about this.

Amazing beach house

Lovely home away from home

Wonderful communication from host Ann, and even a delightful pie in the fridge when we arrived! We celebrated my mothers 75th birthday and had a variety of young and old staying this trip. The private walkover, being at the end of a street in this small subdivision, and all the amenities made this an excellent location. Nice and cool inside, and wonderful breezy balcony with variety of seating options. Wonderful master suite for my parents and lots of sleeping options for all of our families.

Great memories

We enjoyed our time here. We loved walking on the beach and looking for shells. House was set back from the beach slightly which gave a feeling of privacy while still having great views.

We loved the house but it is not "beachfront". It is second row which was a bit of a disappointment. The loft was small and 3 of the 5 single beds were trundle beds which when pulled out left very little room. The deck at the end of the walkover was great. We would go back to this place.

Great Beach house stay!

We enjoyed everything about this property! A great place to stay when your looking for a quiet beachfront property. And we had a delicious key lime pie waiting for us upon arrival! Make sure you hit Ann up to cook you some delicious dinners or desserts! Thank you so much! It was a great time!

Our family of nine spent 7 days here and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The house was lovely and perfectly arranged for hanging out and visiting. The kitchen was large and had every thing you could possibly need to prepare meals. The open concept was wonderful and we never felt crowded.The deck was amazing and we spent a lot of time out there enjoying the view. It has it's own private walkover and another small deck right at the ocean . Debbie and Ann were there to solve any problems or questions you may have.We would not hesitate to recommend and hope to return. The only Con is that you eventually have to pack up and leave.This is a good one!!!

Relaxing Texas Getaway

We loved the house, the view, the beach, really just about everything. Debbie and Ken were such kind and thoughtful hosts. Everything was clean and comfortable and decorated just right for that sweet beach vacation vibe without being overdone. The furniture was perfect for lounging around together, and there is plenty of room in the kitchen for everyone to gather around and help prepare and enjoy meals. We loved the deck and also appreciated the small deck at the end of the walkover when we wanted to enjoy the water but not get sandy. We stayed for a week and were sad to leave! It’s so nice to have a place in Texas like this so we can spend more time relaxing and less time on the road. Surfside may just be our new favorite.

Relaxing beach getaway

The communication with the owner was so easy and she was so kind. The pie she bought for us was amazing, and thoughtful! The location was fabulous! There’s no close house on either side and a private walk over the dunes, straight to the sand! Will definitely stay here again!

Perfect Getaway

We visited the week of Thanksgiving so we had the perfect sweatshirt weather. The house was clean and spacious and the host couldn’t have been any nicer. Everything was better than we anticipated. The weather could have been a little nicer and the mosquitoes are no joke, but overall we had a wonderful time.

Stayed with a couple of buddies at this property for a week and I have nothing but good things to say. Clean, comfortable home in a great relaxing location. Debbie was marvelous to work with and even had her aunt bring us a marvelous apple pie. Highly recommended

Great house with an amazing view!

The house was extremely clean when we arrived. Communication with the host was EXCELLENT and any time I had a question she would respond promptly. The house has its own private board walk to the beach. And what I really appreciated the most was the host allowed us to check in whenever we wanted to and stay as late as we wanted on our check out date.

Awesome property

Awesome property for a weekend away with friends or family. Large open concept great for visiting and loft is great for the kiddos if they are careful on the stairs. My only issue is with wifi was a mobile hotspot, so not the best, but at the beach wifi isnt too vital. Overall, great experience.

Spring Break 2025

This is an excellent location if you love your own private slice of the beach. The home is nice and open for your family to share time together and the private boardwalk / dock directly to the beach is wonderful. The hosts have many nice chairs and umbrellas to enhance your beach experience. We travelled to Galveston and Sunshine beach to experience more but kept asking ourselves - why did we venture away from our perfect setup. Debbie and Ann were super-responsive, friendly, and helpful. I would recommend this to all beach-lovers wanting a great time with their family!

Perfect getaway

The pictures didn't do this house justice. My family and i have stayed at several beach houses throughout the years and everyone loved the house and made several comments on how we should stay at this house again. It was very clean and open with a great view. The deck was amazing and the distance from the beach was great. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely stay again.

Amazing beach house

My family and I had a wonderful time at this beach house. It is beautiful inside and out. Plenty of deck furniture and indoor seating. There was plenty of room in the house. The kitchen is massive and very well stocked. Everything was in great condition. The hosts are wonderful and sent us a delicious pie. They were responsive and very kind. Perfect place for a beach vacation.

Houston Reagion Family Reunion

We shared an amazing time with my wife's aunt, uncle, cousins and their adult children. The beach access was perfect to walk beach and do a little shore line fishing. The meals and time we shared were amazing with plenty of parking and room for everyone to enjoy each others company aseither in the house or on the deck. Beautiful sunrises each morning with coffee and quiet conversations. What an amazing experience!!

Fantastic getaway

We recently returned from a weekend getaway at a beach house, and it was fantastic! The house was spacious enough for our family and had all the amenities we needed. Being just a short walk from the beach was perfect, especially with our little ones. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking beach view from our deck. Debbie, our host, was wonderful and very responsive. Plus, she surprised us with a delicious key lime pie! We loved every moment and would definitely book again.
