Had a great stay, home was nice and clean and well kept up. Everything we needed was there for our stay. Nice and quiet area, very peaceful and hosts are very nice. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the A/C to a larger unit. It was just barely able to keep up in May, I don’t think it would be able to keep it comfortable during the day in the hotter months of summer.
We had a wonderful stay here. Bernie is a great host and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Felt at home. The neighborhood pets made it even better. We will never forget Sandy!
Welcoming folks, nice stay. Only thing I could say, is TV reception could be updated. Cute spot on the creek! Unfortunately it was too cold to use the kayaks..
Nice ammentities and seclusion. We were able to take a quick paddleboard trip around the surronding canals and lakes. We had a nice evening in Mount Dora which is only about 20 miles away.
Enjoyed our 3 week stay. It was peaceful, quiet and safe. Mike and Bernie were great and available for whatever was needed. Enjoyed the natural beauty of the area.
Would definitely return.

Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Not worth it
The property is rundown, the interior is full of dust and spiderwebs, and the stove is in very bad shape, not to mention that the propane tank was empty when I checked in. Those wall air conditioning units cannot keep up with Florida heat. The pictures in this ad are deceiving, and the amenities mentioned in the ad are far from the truth. The areas around the trailer are filthy, and the kayaks or the paddle boats are dirty and filled with water. The fire pit is used for debris disposal and the "lake" is so dirty that isn't even enjoyable to the eyes. During my entire stay, I wondered who wrote those wonderful reviews because none of them were true. Never again will I listen to other people's reviews.
Great stay. We had agreat time and need a peaceful weekend and this was the perfect place for it. Very clean and the host was great and is easily available to answer any questions.
We had a very relaxing stay! The location felt nicely tucked away, offering peace and quiet, yet it was still close to where we needed to be for our family reunion, which was perfect for us.One of the highlights was spending time by the water around sunset—you might even spot an alligator, which made the experience feel unique and memorable. Our hosts were very nice and friendly, making us feel welcome from the start. The house itself was extremely clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.If you enjoy the outdoors and a peaceful setting, you’ll definitely be pleased staying here!
