Hawk's Nest Entire 1650 Sqft lower level.

Come relax in the lower half of our house with one of the most beautiful views of the Palouse. Just 13 minutes from the University of Idaho campus and 28 minutes to Washington State University. Enjoy your 2-bedroom 2-bath, private space. A very open living area with a full kitchen and a total space of 1650 sq ft. A large slider door opens to the 20x20 patio.
These pictures are all from our property. We can't guarantee that you will see any of the neighborhood deer, moose, wild turkey, or the rare Northern Lights. We can guarantee you a peaceful rest. There are TVs in both bedrooms and the living room but suggest you check out the window views.
My wife and I are experienced hosts, having raised 4 children and having many guests over our 43 years of marriage. We recently built this home with VRBO in mind. Please come be our next guest.
Please be aware that we are on the end of a 7/10 of a mile well-maintained private road. If you are joining us in the winter, we suggest all-wheel or 4-wheel drive for a safe journey up our hill.

What a view!

Wonderful stay at the Hawks nest! Jeff was super easy to communicate with and was a great host! I can’t say enough about how beautiful the area is. We really enjoyed our stay!

We booked for Grad weekend

Spacious and functional, large enough for a small gathering of friends to celebrate. Kitchen was well-stocked for what we needed. A few minutes out of town, but that was no issue at all. It was great!

Great views! We had back up instructions but didnt need them, it was at the top of the hill and had separate parking for us. Kitchen was sticked with silverware and even coffee for the coffee maker!

Modern/new space and good views!

We came for a WSU football game. Located under 30 minutes from Pullman, 10-15 minutes from Moscow. Host was nice and responsive. Very spacious, views are gorgeous.

Property had a great open interior, the kitchen was well stocked, very nice bedrooms, and it had things like a portable folding table for the patio. Host was very attentive when needed. Minor quibbles were no bar soap or kleenx. Oh, and what a view of the palouse hills.

It was a fantastic large space- very beautiful and updated. Lots of fun things if you had kids with you- air hockey table and multiple games. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. Even popping their head out over the deck to talk to us one evening to make sure we were doing OK. Just be aware that it is up a hill, especially if you are headed there in the winter. But the top of that hill has a beautiful view.

Beautiful views

The space is a full basement, newly remodeled, clean and basic. The large dining room table was perfect for puzzles and our family dinner. Great hosts. Beautiful drive up the gravel driveway and beautiful view from the windows.

What a gorgeous property nestled in the rolling hills of the Palouse!! With the fall colors in full effect, this was such a beautiful area to be in for the weekend. It was a perfect place for our group of 5 to stay and visit our college kid and his friends. We loved the comfortable beds, the blow up mattress for our 13 year old, the well stocked kitchen to make a big breakfast and the air hockey table was enjoyed by big kids and adults!! Having never been there before, it was interesting to find in the dark. But once you’ve found it, the directions then all make sense. And the hosts were so welcoming and available!

Perfect trip!

Our stay at the Hawk's Nest was all we hoped it would be! It was clean, spacious and the perfect setting for what we were looking for. The hosts Jeff and Carol, were fantastic and very accommodating. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and help us with anything that we needed. And as was fitting, we saw numerous hawks during our stay -they picked a perfect name for their location. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone thinking of staying at the Hawk's Nest.

Beautiful view, comfortable home, friendly

It was the first time for our family to visit Moscow, Idaho. We came to find an apartment for our University of Idaho student. We are so glad we found the Hawk's Nest for the stay. We enjoyed it so much. Owners were very welcoming. Our kids were excited and had plenty to do. Beds were comfortable. View is breathtaking. Love the birds singing in the morning. Beautiful sunrise and sunset. So many positive things that we can’t list them all. We felt safe. We saw a deer and wild turkeys near by. We are looking forward staying there again in the future.
