Very nice house in a perfect location looking out over West Bay. And just a 3 or 4 minutes drive across the highway to get to the beach at Sea Isle. We had a very nice time and no issues at all. Highly recommend.
Nice location directly on the bay in an excellent, quiet neighborhood. Renting a golf cart made trips to the beach easier for us. House was well equipped and very clean. Plenty to do at the house besides just fishing such as cornhole, pickleball, paddle boarding, and watching the AMAZING sunsets! Communications with the owners were great! We had zero complaints about the home or our stay.
Lots of room to fish here and we caught huge trout every night! House was very clean and comfortable. Its very well stocked and we enjoyed are time here.
The view here is perfect, right on the bay with beautiful sunsets! We fished and spent most of our time outside, we caught fish and crabs and a few baby sharks. This house has everything you could possibly need, everything is well stocked so if you forget something at home, they have you covered! The house is a short walk to the beach but we never wanted to leave the bay side. Thank you for an amazing stay!
Just the location and panoramic view of the bay was more than the expected but the setup was perfect. Incredible safe neighborhood, a kitchen to die for with every possible cooking utensil, dinnerware, bowls, casserole dishes, silvverwar, knives, etc. The games available are really to many to mention but the corn hole, pickleball surfboard paddling, fishing straight into the bay was a dream. My grandchildren are ready to go back, and because they were happy grandpa was happy. Thanks for a wonderful, unforgettable week
Our Family stayed 3 nights over the 4th of July weekend. Everything was great overall, loved our stay. Beautiful view of the bay and the sunset! Home was very clean and I was very impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked with most anything you might need for preparing and eating meals. Even had a crab boil after catching crabs from the dock. The homeowners were accessible and attentive, giving us all the information we needed to have a pleasant stay in advance. I would recommend this vrbo home to anyone with family.
We had a last min change in plans and decided to go to Galveston. Didn’t expect to find much but we lucked out and found this gem on the Bay side. The view is unbelievable looking into the Bay. The house has everything you need to enjoy your time on Sea Isle. We caught a lot of trout right off the dock at the front of the house. The owners were wonder and even met us at the house to show us around. Great people and we look forward to visiting again.
Our stay at Lisa and Ken's place was absolutely amazing. The house is clean, cozy, and well furnished with sea-themed decorations creating a relaxing bayside vibe. The kitchen is well stocked with a variety of pots, pans, utensils, and even an instant pot. We brought our own oil and spices but did notice there were already plenty in the cupboard. The tiki bar garage has numerous games/activities for adults and children alike. Our kids especially enjoyed the ladder toss, dart board, a little two-pronged scooter, bubble wands, and chalk. We didn't use the grills, kayaks, or paddle boards but they're available. They also have some rods and lures, but I brought my own equipment. Be sure to visit the neighborhood bait camp to get some live shrimp and croaker. Throughout our stay we caught 2 slot reds and 2 slot speckled trout along with many sand trout, the occasional catfish, 2 unwanted small stingrays, and more. Our crab trap also nabbed a couple large blue crabs.Sea Isle is our go-to neighborhood when booking a family retreat in Galveston because it's quiet, peaceful, and the beach across the street is never too crowded. We've stayed in other houses along the canals, but this was our first time staying on the bay. I honestly can't imagine us choosing a different place next time. You simply cannot beat the view. We would have breakfast on the patio while gazing out across the bay. We had a lovely stay and will definitely keep this house in mind for future Galveston trips.
Pictures are out of date, there is no basketball goal, there was pickleball equipment but no actual pickleball, so couldn’t play that, also no hammock. Railing on deck was wobbly. Host had said there was to be no parties which I had told her was fine that’s not what we were there for but that we might have coaches over since we were there for baseball, so on the day that we were having a get together I get a text from the host stating that the neighbors were complaining about the number of cars at the house there were 3, 4 including mine. Neighbors had just got home from being gone all week I suppose since that was the first time we had seen anyone over there, they also left shortly after and didn’t come back till the day we left. I see she has now changed the rules to no events because that wasn’t there before when I booked. Anyways wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you want her and the neighbors to control your every move and have her threatening to charge you for every other person that came to the house!

This guest had a party and caused damage to our house and becuase we took a small amount of money from her damage depost to cover the damges she has written this hoirrible review. Much of what's in her reivew is false. (1) We absolutely do have pickleball, and it's detailed in the guest instructions as to where all the equipment is (2) We do have hammocks and if she would have asked me where they were located in the garage I would have told her (3) Our rules did say no events she booked. Furthermore, I called her within 30 minutes of booking and when she told me it was her daugher's birthday, I offered to give hier a full refund and explained that she could not use our house for a birthday party because we do not allow events. Rather than cancelling, she had the party anyway. She had at least 3 cars of extra guests over for a party, I think more because some people were parking on the street and not the driveway. They broke a fishing rod and hid it in the garage so our manager wouildn't see it, took one fishing rod, didn't offer to pay for the rods. They took or lost the remote control for the garage TV and didn't tell us so the next guest couldn't watch the TV. They put a 6' piece of double-stick tape on the wall in the family room that left glue reside all the way across the wall. We had to use GooBGone to remove the tape and then repaint this wall. It is true that the basketball goal is broken, but we also don'[t advertise that as an ammenitiy and there is a basketball court at the Sea Isle playground. According to our rules, I could have charged her $50 for each extra guest which would have been $500, but I only deducted enough to cover the two damaged fishing rods and the TV remote control. I didn't deduct for the damage to the wall or extra cleaning required.
