Welcome to Riverside Retreat!

Come experience the true beauty of Crystal River and all it has to offer!
Imagine your days kayaking, scalloping or fishing on Crystal River with direct access just minutes away from the Gulf of Mexico. Discover Deep Sea Fishing and swimming with Manatees or simply take just take some time out to soak in the sun at Fort Island beach or enjoy nature walks and bird watching at nearby preserves that are all just a few miles away.

Riverside Retreat is located is a peaceful neighborhood on a canal. Inside you will find a fully renovated space that it is equipped with all of the amenities you will need to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. The kitchen has updated appliances, a coffee station and is fully stocked with new pots and pans, dinnerware, utensils and so much more. There spacious living/dining open concept is perfect for your family and entertaining guests. The master bedroom is spacious with its own private bath. The guest bedrooms are cozy and is a place you can go to unwind at the end of a busy day. Other additional activities like board games, puzzles, cards and corn hole boards are available for family and friends to enjoy. Also, don’t forget to bring your fishing rods to fish off the new floating dock!

There is a public boat ramp 1 mile from the house, so bring your boat! (recomended up to 23ft) The canal empties into Crystal River and is a short boat ride to the Gulf of Mexico where you can fish, go scalloping or simply choose to anchor your boat and relax at a nearby sandbar hangout. If you head south on the river, that will take you to Kings Bay, Three Sisters Springs, Hunter Springs, waterfront restaurants and bars. There are also several hiking trails, preserves and state parks within a few miles where you can enjoy nature and wildlife. In the cooler months, don’t forget to come swim with the Manatees!!

For your use and enjoyment there are:

Kayaking from the house to the Springs is about a 30-45 minutes paddle, depending on your skill level.
Kayaking from Hunter Springs to Three Sisters is about 20 minutes depending on boat traffic.

Tides fluctuate in the canal, depending on your draft and you will need to watch the tides.

Once you come experience all that Crystal River has to offer, you will find that it will be one of your favorite destination places to visit!

I would book again. If you bring boat be aware of tides and water depth in canal. Home was clean and as described in listing. The coffee was excellent.

Nice place

Kitchen was well equipped, comfortable beds, and well stocked with towels and other supplies. I was able to dock 22’ center console, just need to plan coming and going around the lowest part of the tide with a deeper draft boat.

This was a very nice place, spacious and comfortable. Love being able to have my boat right in back of the house and the boat ramp is just a few miles down the road. Extremely close to the gulf. Had 21' Hurricane deck boat and made it down the canal to this house on low tide twice. The house is beautiful, clean and well furnished. We had a great time with our family and would definitely love to visit here again.

Crystal River Vacation

Property was very clean and accessible. We had an issue with the tides in the canal and ended up having to row our boat back to the dock at one point. It was a good location other wise with access to the channel. We had a great time with family. Will be looking for other places next time with easier access for the boat.

Waterfront Crystal River

We've been going to Crystal River for years now and this was the nicest house we've rented. Three full bedrooms and two full size baths. The home is well furnished, appliances appear new and there were plenty of linens and kitchen dishes, pans, etc. For parking, the house has a long driveway plus a two car garage. We played corn hole on the large screened in porch. For dockage, there is a good sized deck and floating dock. We have a 23' center console and had no problems tying up and getting into and back from Crystal River which is a short canal ride away. It is close to the Ft. Island public ramp and closer to the gulf than properties in town. Very enjoyable visit and we wouldn't hesitate to stay to here again.
