NIce but is in need of some repairs. Screen door needs repair. Back porch very dirty and needs washing and painting. Did not have video to find cabin until we arrived. Host stated in directions to cabin that you would stop at white picket fence and there would be two mailboxes and you turn there to go to cabin. But the fence is not a picket fence but it is white and there was 4 mailboxes not two.
The perfect intimate, cozy cabin getaway! Our Christmas was perfectly perfect! The hostess had the cabin decorated for Christmas! Such a special touch! We will definitely be back!
The cabin was very nice and comfortable in a nice secluded area. The location is great, not too far from town and plenty of outdoor activities as well. I would be happy to stay here again.
We had an amazing time. It was my girlfriend and I’s first trip and couldn’t have been more perfect for us. It is in the middle of no where. Would definitely recommend this to our friends and family. The cabin was beautiful, hot tub was amazing to sit at on a fall evening. Buy any food, drinks or snacks before you get there it is about a 20 minute drive to town. If I had any thing to tell other people about… I drive a sports car and had we known the road was dirt we would have taken my girlfriend’s suv. It is a rough road to get to the cabin. It scared the bottom of my car. The other thing we didn’t love was the couch separated. You can tell that the couch wasn’t cheap just an awful design. Not very relaxing or comfortable to sit on. But with those things said… I would 100% go back to this place.
Lovely little place in the woods! Well equipped and clean with all the amenities you’ll need! Just bring a few extra towels and cream for the coffee that’s provided! The hot tub was so awesome after the hikes!
Absolutely loved the location, very good communication with host. This place is even better than the pictures imo, couldn't get Wi-Fi to work, but wasn't a problem for me. 5 star all the way!
Very quiet location. It was remote but it was exactly what we were looking for. Lot's of hiking and biking close by. Waterfalls. There are several really nice wineries close by.
Place was nice and may come back again. Few comments. Update your Wi-Fi network information. Fortunately ,we figured it out. Need dishwasher soap. We hand washed the dishes because that is who we are. The back porch stone corner has a wasp nest in it. Hate for a child to climb up on it. Also facing the house from the front, there is a very active yellow jackets nest on the right in the slots of the tin roof. Again, really liked the cabin but wanted to provide this feedback.
This is a beautiful cabin in a very secluded area. We absolutely loved the deck. The mattress on the bed was so comfy! We only left once our entire stay.
Loved the communication from the host on directions to the cabin, would never have found it otherwise. It was very tidy with lots of extra touches to make the stay pleasant. No internet at all, but I think the area makes that really tough so plan ahead. The hot tub was amazing so we just spent all our time there!
The property was beautiful and tucked in a nice spot away from civilization and the sound of the creek was more than peaceful!! Highly recommend for a week long stay!!
Clean, well equipped, and comfortable home! We spent a good amount of time on the deck, in the hot tub, sitting by the fire pit, and kicking around in the creek. Secluded but near enough to downtown and many outdoor recreation areas. Definitely somewhere we will stay again.
The only negative was that there was no wifi the entire 4 days we were there so we were unable to plan the next days activity until after we had left the cabin each morning.
The description and reviews really don't describe the peace and tranquility you will experience. My wife and I felt a peace that was indescribable as we approached the property. I call it the ultimate getaway spot! We didn't realize how much we need this getaway and we are so appreciative of our host. Who by the way was so gracious and ready to assist. Always responded quickly. Thank you so very much, we're definitely looking forward to our next stay!❤️
The cabin was amazing!!!!! My wife and i had not been so relaxed in years. The sound of the creek in the yard was next to none. The kitchen was completely furnished and had top of the line appliances. The property manager was very helpful and we will be coming back to stay again.
This is just a wonderful cabin in a beautiful setting. The location is an easy drive for shopping, wine touring and hiking. It had everything you could want with comfortable furnishings, great kitchen, games for entertainment, and nice touches provided like tea, coffee, bath toiletries and helpful instructions. It was these little details that made the cabin better than expected. We would definitely recommend.
Love the seclusion of this property. Saw numerous bucks and does while there. I was also serenaded on the deck by woody the woodpecker!! He was georgous!
While here we made a day trip to Dawsonville and a day trip to Helen.
We also ran into car trouble (some kind of bearing something something, lol)on our first day. We found Allen's Automotive on Google. 5 stars folks!! Same day repair-drove us in to Dahlonega-came back and picked us up after they were finished.
This cabin was the cleanest cabin we've ever stayed at. Smelled so good when you walked in made you feel like you were home. They had the best pillows, most comfortable bed. The softest rug in the living room never felt anything like it. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

About the host

I moved to Georgia 10 years ago, from the island of Puerto Rico. After driving through most of the state, I finally came across the city of Dahlonega, and immediately fell in love. This City of Gold is filled with majestic water falls, incredible hiking trails, delicious restaurants, luxurious wineries and vineyards and simply incredible energy. This is why we opened up our property, so you too can experience the greatness of Dahlonega.
Why they chose this property
It is tucked away in the serene valley of the North Georgia Mountains, just a few minute drive from downtown Dahlonega, and 10min from one of our favorite wineries.
What makes this property unique
An open space cabin with over 2 acres of private property so you can disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city, and reconnect with your self, and your guest.
