Bruce and Lisa’s (hosts) place was so cute, clean and welcoming. Very comfortable inside as well as on the back deck overlooking the Chestatee River. Watching the activity at the hanging hummingbird feeder was a real treat! The hosts are next door so they were very attentive to our needs and friendly. Not a very long drive into Dahlonega so that was nice too. Highly recommend!

Thank you for staying with us. We enjoyed hosting you and hope you can come back someday.
I rarely give all 5 stars but this VRBO was exceptional. It exceeded my expectations from the listing. Bruce, the host, met me at check-in. He was very personable and wanted to make sure we had everything we need. The appointments in the home were wonderful. River access was easy and the water was great. Good location, close to things we wanted to visit. Overall, a wonderful experience.

What a beautiful setting. Beautiful house well decorated great porch and very friendly host one of our favorite places. If I had to knit, I’d say, brighten up the interior a bit in the kitchen and living room.. we love the place

The kitchen was fully equiped with all that was needed and more. Would have liked the fireplace available as we did have a few chilly nights but was fine with it.

Thank you for staying with us. We hope we can host you again someday.
This is truly an outstanding property. Fully stocked kitchen for any need to assist in cooking. Beautiful furniture that was extremely comfortable. The scenery is unbelievable, the location…perfect. Watched a bald eagle, blue heron and several deer. Best of all was the owner, our neighbor who welcomed us, and came by to wish us well when we left. We love Dahlonega, and will always keep this home in the forefront.

The host was very welcoming and the home had everything you would need. It was very clean and loved that each bedroom had it's own bathroom. The location was perfect, and easy to get to.
We had such a great time! The house is extremely clean, well stocked with essentials, and the view cant be beat.We are an outdoors family and we enjoyed swimming in the river, exploring, tubing, and fishing. The host greeted us as we arrived to make sure we could get into the house without any problems. They also gave us their cell phone number just incase we ran into any issues or had questions. We enjoyed watching the crazy funny hummingbirds flying around. The beds are super comfortable. The showers had excellent water pressure! The kitchen had pots and pans and also sharp knives. When we werent at the house, we enjoyed hiking and swimming at Black Falls, Wildcat Sliding Rock, tubing in Helen, shopping in Dahlonega. We ate at Spirits Tavern (excellent hamburgers!), Shenanigans (fish and chips are amazing), 7pie Pizza (delicious!)!
