I’m proud to carry on the legacy of Leber’s Log Cabins—a place that’s been in my family since 1932. My great-grandfather built these cabins by hand, one log at a time, and for nearly a century they’ve offered travelers a quiet retreat in the Laurel Highlands. Growing up here, I learned the value of hard work, hospitality, and the simple joys of cabin life: crackling fires, fresh mountain air, and time spent with the people you love.
Today, I help manage the property and oversee operations, continuing the traditions passed down through generations. While the cabins have been updated for modern comfort, they’ve never lost the charm and spirit they were built on. Every fireplace, porch, and piece of woodwork tells a story—of craftsmanship, care, and community.
For me, this isn’t just a business—it’s home. It’s where I’ve made memories with my family and where I now get to help others create their own. Whether you’re here for a romantic weekend, a family adventure, or just a little peace and quiet, I hope you feel the same warmth and welcome that’s been part of Leber’s since the beginning.
We’re honored to share this special place with you, and we look forward to being part of your story too.
Why they chose this property
Leber’s Log Cabins have been in our family for generations. Originally hand-built starting in 1932, these cabins were created as a place for travelers to find rest, connection, and the beauty of the Laurel Highlands. We chose to continue that legacy—not just to honor our family history, but because we believe in the magic this place still holds today.
Owning and maintaining these cabins isn’t just a business—it’s a calling. We’ve updated each cabin to provide modern comfort while preserving the rustic charm and handcrafted details that make them so special. It’s our way of sharing a piece of Appalachian heritage with every guest who walks through the door.
Our goal is simple: to offer families, couples, and adventurers the same peaceful, nature-filled experiences we grew up with here. Whether you’re hiking through Ohiopyle, sitting by a fire pit under the stars, or just looking for a quiet escape, we’re proud to provide a place where people can slow down and reconnect with what matters.
