Clean, comfortable, with everything I needed. Simple check-in. Loved that both the front and back yards were securely fenced for my two dachshunds! QUIET neighborhood that was easy to get in and out of. Very responsive hosts. Would definitely stay again!
Had a great stay in Seattle at the Courtland address. Neighborhood was friendly and the yard gave us agility to sit outside together. Kitchen was nicely appointed and grocery stores were plentiful. Place was clean and quiet. We played catch in the yard and on the street when my boys wanted to cut loose.
This was a business trip and in lieu of staying in a hotel I wanted something more private that had laundry and place that I could cook my own meals for the week. This home was clean bright and fresh and I highly recommend. I will definitely be staying there again on my next business trip into Seattle.
We really enjoyed this small, quiet home. It had lots of character and was a perfect home base for our touring. It was close to major roads and easy to get to attractions. The house and neighborhood were nice and quiet, allowing us to sleep well and recharge between events. The beds were comfortable (no dips!) with great pillows. The property manager was very welcoming and responded promptly to questions and offered great support.
We booked this house to celebrate our son’s graduation from the University of Washington. It was a great home base for the weekend’s festivities. The close proximity to the Shoreline Light Link rail station made it super convenient to get to Husky Stadium. The house is cute and clean. It had everything we needed for a great stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again or recommend to others.
We had a very enjoyable stay here in Seattle.Met up with family there and the rental was very accommodating The kitchen well stock to be able to prepare food. Comfortable seating arrangement and a good location that fit our needs.Comfortable seating arrangement
Perfect house for our family of 4 and yellow Lab. The house was very clean and well decorated with plenty of seating and comfortable beds. We were close enough to the city where we caught a ball game at T-Mobile park. We’ll definitely be back.
Location had easy parking and two fenced yards. Everything inside was clearly marked and organized. It was super clean and we felt at home immediately. We will definitely stay here again!
Home is clean and has everything you would need for short and long term stays. The house was exactly as described and in a quiet/friendly neighborhood. Many neighbors are out walking dogs morning and night. We loved that both back and front yard is fenced and plenty of parking. Joyce was a wonderful host and very responsive. Thank you for letting us stay in your home!
This property was a dream to stay at. Very clean, organized, and easy to navigate. You can tell the owners take pride in their house. The neighborhood was quiet and easy to get to. I would highly recommend this house to anyone staying in the Seattle area.
Very comfortable, well-equipped home in a really convenient location for Shoreline and Edmonds.
The hosts were very good at communicating with us.
The fenced front and back yards were great for the dog. We had a lovely time.
This house was great! Very clean and offered all the necessities plus some extras. The communication from the host was great. We had 5 adults in our family and we fit nicely. The yard was roomy.
We felt right at home the moment we walked through the front door. The home was very clean. The kitchen had any appliance we would possibly need. The beds were comfy. The location was perfect.
This house was perfect for our family- everything we needed was provided, and the kitchen was well-stocked with cooking utensils. The check-in and out process was easy. It was great to have a back yard!
The place was absolutely perfect! Very clean. Easy to get to. Perfectly set up for dogs! Even loved the rabbit that showed in the front yard two days in a row! Highly recommend!
Perfect for our holiday visit to see friends and family. Gave our pets their own place to relax when we had down time. Neighborhood was great for walks with the dogs and easy to get to highways and shopping like grocery stores and restaurants. Made our cross country trip easier.
We were delighted by this home, it lived up to its description. The home felt like someone’s actual home with thoughtful furniture, items and linens, not just a rental. We were extremely relieved and comfortable in this home and would gladly rent it again. Yard is great for dogs, fully fenced in, neighborhood is quiet but very convenient.
This was a perfect spot for our family of 4 in town from Dallas to see the Taylor Swift concert. We brought our daughters dog with us and having the fenced back yard was so convenient. The house was extra clean and just right for us.
The house includes many small little extras that are above and beyond the average stay. Hair ties, toiletries, snacks, instructions and information all around including a digital board with so much information. The bedding and linens were high end as well as great pillows. We had a great stay.
Well appointed home, comfortable, clean and safe. I stayed for a week ad didnt gwt to enjoy the home as much as I would have liked. It was close to everything and had great restaurant recommendations. Neighbors are friendly and quiet...watch for the adorable corgis that get walked every day! I will definitely stay again!

About the host
Hosted by Joyce Juntunen
This guest house was purchased with hospitality in mind and inspired by our dear pup, Josie, who was a friend to all she met. For those of you who are new to Seattle, you are in for a treat. I moved here in 1996 and fell in love with the city and surrounding area with its mild temperatures and proximity to water, mountains and rainforest. My husband grew up in the area and has lived here all his life. We have wonderful parks, hikes, winter sports, restaurants and wine just minutes away plus Seahawks, Mariners, Sounders, Storm, Reign and now the Kraken (their practice facility is in the neighborhood). Just don’t ask about the Super Sonics!
Why they chose this property
I love the Haller Lake neighborhood because it is very residential - mostly single family homes so it's quiet. It's close to light rail, UW Medical Center - Northwest, Northgate and tons of shopping. There is also Haller Lake itself which is a very close place to swim, paddleboard or float in the warm months.
What makes this property unique
We love this little house with it's big fenced yard! We are continually improving it and adding more creature comforts but all of our furnishings are less than 2 years old. We added brand-new Molecule mattresses, Brooklinen sheets, towels and bedding and Caraway cookware. If you plan on cooking, there is a fully stocked kitchen with every appliance and utensil you could possibly need!
Since we are dog lovers, we made the house pet-friendly and have provided a dog bed, food bowls and a toy or two. And, of course, we love to host so if you need something, just ask!
