With easy access to the Beach, the Palmetto Pearl is additionally less than a 1/4 mile from the "Washout" reportedly some of the best surfing on the east coast, and the venue for many sanctioned surfing competitions throughout the year. The Palmetto Pearl is in close proximity to all Folly River Recreational Activities such as para-sailing or kayaking and canoeing expeditions. As well, public tennis courts are within 5 blocks of the house, only a short bike ride away or even shorter drive where parking is available. All of this and the comforts and privacy of a family home. Nestled among the Palmettos you can enjoy the Morning Sunrise or Afternoon Ocean Breezes on the screened porch that runs along the entire front of the house without baking in the heat of Charleston's summer sun or catch some afternoon rays or evening cocktails in complete privacy of the back sundeck which boasts a gas grill, generous seating and plenty of space for entertaining or just lounging about. Bicycle and golf cart rentals are also available on the island.
