My family and I enjoyed the stay. Location had everything we needed and the hosts were friendly. Short walk down to the water was scenic and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Would stay here again.
So peaceful! So nice! So comfortable! My granddaughter who was at first very leary of staying there since it was out in the woods ended up wanting to live there!

The property is really nice and we really enjoyed the cute park down by the creek! It's a beautiful place to disconnect and unwind. We want to come back to go kayaking on one of the rivers nearby.
Our stay at the Bunkhouse was amazing! The property was beautiful and the house was cozy and spotless. The pavilion has everything we needed, including grills and cooking supplies. The hosts were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a memorable vacation. The Bunkhouse is a rare gem that is comfortable and quiet. We highly recommend the Bunkhouse for a comfortable and beautifully decorated home away from home.

Thank you Nicole for leaving our place so nice you went beyond just leaving it clean, even changing the beds. I wish I could have met you, my husband had nice things to say about your family. We hope you will consider us again if coming this way.

Hosts are amazing people who care about their guests. We enjoyed the visit and hospitality.
Definitely will be back. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
Thank you and a shout out to fabulous hosts. The hosts were very friendly. The place was extremely clean and the kitchen well stocked with spices, cooking equipment, cleaning supplies, and many extra amenities. It was a perfect place for our family. We loved staying in the country. We really enjoyed the covered porch in the back and appreciated the covered parking. The place was very quiet and peaceful during our stay.
Perfect spot for our weekend get together with friends.
Just as pictured! Perfect spot for 4 adults. Kitchen well stocked. Clean. Comfortable. The hosts are lovely, very gracious and accommodating. We plan to go back!
We didnt do much exploring around the property, but it was well kept, and not difficult to find. Owners greeted us upon arrical and were very nice. Bedrooms are upstairs, the steps are a little steep, but not too bad. Kitchen was well equipped and worked out great for us. Very cute cabin, nicely decorated and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
The bunkhouse was perfect, and the property itself was beautiful, clean, well-maintained, and offered several great areas to enjoy. That part of our stay was wonderful.Unfortunately, our overall experience was affected by interactions with the owner. Due to a miscommunication between myself and a family member renting another building on the property, we ended up with extra campers. We spoke with Rex, and he allowed us to stay, offering additional accommodations and camping spots, which we paid for. At the time, everything seemed resolved. What surprised us was the amount of monitoring and communication throughout our stay. Nothing in the listing suggested guests would be checked on multiple times a day, but that was our experience. The most disappointing part happened as we were leaving. Instead of speaking with me directly, Rex addressed concerns to my wife in front of our children and grandparents, by yelling. This was confusing because we had already discussed the camping situation, paid the additional fees, and had a positive conversation earlier in the trip. Our family gathered that weekend to honor two loved ones who had passed away, so it was upsetting when comments were made about two young women in our group not being dressed appropriately according to his standards. The property and accommodations were excellent, but the way concerns were handled left us feeling uncomfortable and saddened at the end of what should have been a meaningful family gathering.

They booked both our units.
The booking was made for the max number of guests at each unit, not declaring extra guests avoiding the additional fees for both houses.
One of the guest arrived with a big dog not declaring thru the VRBO platform avoiding the pet fee. Then we noticed several vehicles coming in as many as 8 or more, so i msg the guest thru the vrbo site to ask how many extra guests are coming to our property and got no response. I msg the one who booked.
We were told one guest did not know the other one was bringing all these people, however they were well prepared with all their camping gear etc.
Also mentioned the owner was constantly checking up on them. There is a sign at the front gate that says this a a working farm. It is also on the VRBO platform that we live on the property full time.
The property inner road runs right in front of one of the units, this road is used for checking and maintaining our cows, also is the road that goes to the creek campground and the other unit we are building so the owner is back n forth on this road many times a day. He is not checking up on the guests. The campground has no power so we install a jackery charger for the lights in the bathroom he goes down to make sure it has power and ck supplies. We do appreciate our guests dressing modesty and will add that to the platform.
This bunkhouse was super cozy and clean. It was raining while we were here but the parking was covered which was nice and convenient. Our host, Timalee was great with communicating and me and my fiancé had a great time here!
