Float, Fish & Unwind at Muleshoe Cottage - River Views and Close to Outfitters

Perched on a dramatic hillside, our property offers unmatched, elevated views. Because of this rugged natural terrain, the cottage is an ideal sanctuary for adults and older teens looking to disconnect. Enjoy the river and valley view off your back deck with your morning coffee or tea, spend the day fishing, floating or hiking, then come home to relax and unwind in the claw foot tub.

On the main level you'll find the kitchen and living / dining area and upper deck outdoor seating / dining. This space faces east and has a beautiful sunrise over the river.

The primary suite is located upstairs on the top floor, in a semi-loft style room with a queen bed, workspace, private bathroom with claw foot tub, and walk-in closet.

The second sleeping area is in downstairs in the walk-out basement with two double beds. This is also where you'll find the second full bathroom and shower, mini bar and game room, and another outdoor seating / dining space.

Clean & great communication!

We had a great stay at the Muleshoe Cottage. A very cozy setting with a great view that looks out of the Bryant Creek and some of the best views you will find in the Ozarks!

Secluded charming cabin with a river view and three outdoor porches. Excellent furnishings and kitchen is nicely appointed. Very quiet. No Wi-Fi, but a great selection of DVDs for both children and adults. Bring your gamesmanship if you like darts or foosball.

Everything was 5 star except no bathroom on main floor and stairs going up or down were difficult for us because we are old! No fault of the host.

Cutest cabin ever

My family stayed in this cabin over memorial weekend. The host was exceptional at providing us directions and making sure we got to the property OK due to excess rain and flooding in the area. We had no issues and I was very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The cabin was actually bigger than it looked in the pictures! We had a couple family members that came by for a visit. There was plenty of room to hang out for the evening. And…I can’t say enough about the decor — it was beyond cozy, artistic, and quaint! Seriously, we were blown away! Everyone in our family enjoyed the stay. We made a meal in the kitchen and even got to make s’mores at the fire pit. All necessary kitchen equipment was provided. The beds were comfy too! I HIGHLY recommend this cabin. You will not be disappointed!!

Why they chose this property

My family and I love coming to this area to float and hang out at the river. If you want a laid-back scene with great fishing spots, the Bryant is a perfect choice. If you're looking for a party and little livlier time, North Fork River access and outfitters are less than 5 miles down the road.

What makes this property unique

Muleshoe Cottage is a modified A-Frame on a high hillside overlooking the river. The two-story deck and multi-level layout make it a cozy choice to hang out and spend time with friends and family after being on the river all day. Both bedrooms are located in the east side of the house - waking up to the sunrise over the water with all of the trees around is a beautiful way to start your day!
