Brand New Modern Cabin Steps away from beautiful Houghton Lake

Come and stay at this beautifully modern cabin providing all the amenities to make your stay perfect! Everything brand new in 2023! Fully stocked kitchen, full size appliances, comfort foam mattresses, and all new furniture.

Whether you want to soak up the sun on our sandy beach or relax in the shade under one of the two newly built cabanas - we've got you covered. Shared cabanas have patio furniture, fire pit table, and Blackstone grill.

Want to float on the lake? Then bring your boat or water toys to moor at our dock and enjoy all Houghton Lake has to offer!

House Rules
Please Read All

Self check-in with door code
Note: Host will not be responsible for personal belongings left behind. Please make sure to check you have all of your belongings before leaving your stay.
Unapproved late checkouts will be subject to a $50 fee from host, as this sets back our cleaner’s schedule.

General Rules:
Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 10am.
No pets allowed at this home.
Please be respectful of neighbors. I do not allow parties.
Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am- please be courteous to your neighbors as cabins are in close proximity to each other.
Absolutely NO unregistered guests without prior approval from the owner.
Absolutely NO drugs of any kind - alcohol is OK.
Absolutely no smoking in the house and if you do smoke outside, please be courteous and clean up your butts/ash.
Absolutely no fireworks of any kind.
No firepits allowed on property other than those provided. Firepits are not to be moved.
DO NOT flush anything other than toilet paper in the toilet!
If anything breaks, spills, stains etc please let me know ASAP.
You will be charged for any major damage or if anything goes missing.
Excessive use of linens, blankets, house supplies will be subject to additional charges.
Evidence of smoking in the home will be subject to a $400 fine.

Before you check-out
Put all used towels in the shower floor before you leave. You may leave used bedding on the bed (don’t strip the beds).
Please clean all dirty dishes.
Please take all garbage out to the trash receptacles located in the parking lot in front of the recreational building.
Turn off any lights, air conditioning.
Please close and lock all windows.
Lock door.

Great place for a larger family or group to stay together.

Very clean and pefect on the water spot. We rented the pontoon they had and we had a great time. Lots of common area amenities for the group.

Great cabin and excellent communication. The towels were soft and even provided beach towels. So many amenities, we hung out in the cabana and had fires every night. We were also able to keep our boat on their dock for our stay. There are 5 cabins all together it would be a great place for several families to come stay together

Although tiny it was clean, freshly remodeled, well appointed. There is a rec building on property and a fire pit, bbq, kayaks, games etc. we will definitely be back!

My siblings, parent and I all rented cabins (4 of the 5) for a long weekend in July 2025 and had a wonderful time. Each cabin was slightly different, but each was so accommodating and well stocked. From beach towels to stick floor vacuums the hosts have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. We took full advantage of the “club house” as the kids called it for large meal prep and loved being able to use the blackstone and fire pits. We had lovely casual meals outdoors, letting the kids easily move between cabins while we could keep our eyes on them. Being able to sit on the various porches and see the beach or shared space made for great family time.

Excellent Property

We came for a short stay while my daughter was here from Cali, this was the perfect place! The property is very clean and well maintained and the owners are amazing, great communication, easy check-in, and newly remolded last year so everything is pristine -just one of the best experiences. The details to the little things is always a bonus for me and they hit this on the nail - plenty of towels, beach towels, dish soap, even coffee! We will return to this property - thank you for a wonderful get away spot!

Last minute trip

Decided to get a place close to where my brother and his kids were staying on vacation. This place was only a few houses away. It is right on the lake. The cabin is small but very clean and updated. Plus there is a lot to do outside. They setup a little beach area with chairs, a fire pit, gazebo and games to play outside. We would have rented kayaks if the weather would have been a little nicer on our last night.

My husband & I had a little getaway while our daughter was at a camp. We were so pleased with how accommodating the owners were as we navigating through some unexpected problems. The cottages are exactly how they describe them- beautiful & newly renovated. We were so comfortable and felt "right at home!" We were right on the water and docked our boat on their private dock. We highly recommend checking out their cottages on Houghton Lake!

Wonderful Property with lots to offer!

The hosts have done a wonderful job with the updates to these cottages! The finishes are well done and they come stocked with everything you will need to feel right at home! Our family of 5 even had enough towels for the whole stay which is rare :) The amenities spoiled us, and we especially loved having the clubhouse and patio to eat and play throughout the day. The water quality wasn't the best during our stay in that portion of the lake, but I suggest renting a boat for a couple of days to take out and enjoy the sandbars on the northern end of the lake. We would return for another stay. Kudos to the hosts!
