We have been to this Walla Walla farm multiple times.. we always look so forward to vacation. Dan and Karen are the most wonderful people you could ever wish for as hosts. It is peaceful and so relaxing.
My husband & I have zero complaints about this place. It was so quiet that we kept stepping outside to see if we could hear noise of any kind. The flock of turkeys every morning warmed our hearts.
The unit was immaculate and fully stocked with everything we needed. The host was very responsive to inquiries...the hot tub was a bonus!
It was our anniversary and we were in the heart of wine country, close to all the wine tasting we could want to enjoy, while being in the peaceful country surroundings.
We would absolutely stay at this farm again without question.
Great stay! Quaint place with view of farm with cows! Horses were close by and we also saw a flock of turkeys. Hosts were awesome. We loved the pellet stove. We will be back!
Country style accommodations, very comfortable, surrounded by farms and open spaces. We walked to a nearby landmark and were close to several wineries. Strongly recommend this stay!
We stayed 30 days and loved every minute. Peaceful yet fun to watch the horses, cows and new borns. Plus wild turkeys nightly. Very well stocked kitchen western motif is cool. Lovely owners who answered a ton of our questions. Loved the friendly mastiff, Sage! Wine tasting and great restaurants 20 minutes away in town, wine tasting 5 minutes away. We will go back!
Great stay, right next to pastures with cows and wild turkeys. Rural, 8 minutes drive to center of Walla Walla, private and peaceful. Kitchen faucet leaked but everything else good.
Our stay was in Walla Walla was very pleasant and relaxing. Our hosts were delightful and always helpful. We were able to sleep in and get the quality rest we certainly needed. Our "in barn" apartment was very clean and comfortable. We had wild turkeys in our front yard every morning and evening as well as cattle in the pastures grazing. It was as peaceful as it gets.
We drove to WW to buy grass fed beef at Blue Valley meats... delicious! We highly recommend stopping by there to shop at the fresh meat counter.
Town is just 10 minutes away.
We highly recommend this choice if you are looking for a restful stay in Walla Walla. I'm sure we will visit again.

Great place, in the heart of Walla Walla wine country and near the Wine Valley Golf Course. The owners were easy to communicate with and this VRBO met all our needs traveling with our small dog. We will definitely return on our next visit to the area!
Very cute, western decor abounds in this farm house home away from home. Large two bedroom accommodations, fully equipped- even with cold bottles water in the fridge. Enjoyed watching the cows come home to feed with the turkeys not far behind. Lovely outside area for relaxing.
We had a peaceful and relaxing stay at Walla Walla Farm. Exactly what we were looking for and needed!! We enjoyed watching wild turkeys, cattle, horses, farm cats, and meeting Sage the 180 lb. Mastif! So quiet there!!
Also, a big thank you for the bottle of Amavi wine at our door the night before our departure.
We had a great time visiting Walla Wall and enjoyed our stay on the farm. The directions made it easy to find. It's a good location, about 15 minutes from downtown Walla Walla and near a number of wineries.
The property is clean and well appointed. We enjoyed watching the cows and turkeys move from pasture to pasture. The beds and pillows were comfortable and we slept well.
The couch wasn't very comfortable, it looked like the hide-a-b ed wouldn't lay flat. Probably an easy fix. I would also advise against wearing socks if you're staying in the loft. I took a spill down the stairs, even noting to be very careful and holding the railing, but still slipped anyway.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.
Great place to stay. Close enough to town and wineries close to property. Place is clean, well stocked, comfortable. Hosts go above and beyond to make your stay great. We had a medical equipment issue and can't say enough about how kind they were in helping with this issue!
Wife, friends and I all enjoyed our stay at the Farm immensely. Dan and Karen were great hosts and would recommend to anyone staying in Walla Walla, to stay at the Farm. I would have given it 5-stars across the board but only gave it 4 for cleanliness, c'mon, it's a working farm. The accommodations were very clean.
Dan and Karen were lovely and accommodating to us and our two fur babies. The apartment was just as listed. Their farm was beautiful with the cows, horses and wild turkeys. The apartment was clean, spacious and very relaxing. Just the get away we were hoping for. Thank you for the wonderful stay and the bottle of wine. I would highly recommend that you stay there for the peaceful, rustic feel.
Karen and Dan were wonderful hosts. Overall, we enjoyed our experience with nights in the hot tub star gazing and mornings with coffee on the patio watching the cattle and horses graze. It is truly the experience of living on a working farm as people were about caring for the farm and animals during the week.
We had a bit of an issue when we first arrived with the cleaning not being completed in the upstairs quarters, but Karen and Dan responded quickly and took care of it before our friends arrived. They gave great recommendations for restaurants and wineries in the area. We highly recommend three rivers for the views and outdoor atmosphere of cornhole and Jenga not to mention great wine!
Do be aware if you are bringing dogs that there were 3 dogs roaming the property off leash and many cats around the barn. The dogs were friendly and we didn’t have any issues except our little dogs are not always dog friendly and definitely chase cats so we had to make sure the area was pet free before taking them out on leash to potty.
Overall highly recommend if you love animals and want a beautiful stay on a farm near some great wineries:)

This is a very good base for just chilling out or as a landing spot after enjoying activities in Walla Walla. It is excellent for two people or couples staying together who each want privacy in the bed/bath areas (two separate bedrooms and bathrooms) but common areas for enjoying each other's company.
We had a wonderful stay and Karen and Dan's "barn home!" Was cozy and warm, and we loved watching the cows in the fields from the hot tub! Very nice and clean and well equipped. The location is superb just a few miles outside Walla Walla and right in the heart of the West Walla Walla wine area. Karen and Dan were very quick to offer recommendations and also made sure our stay was lovely. Highly recommend!

About the host
Hosted by Dan and Karen
Dan owns rental stores and Cathy is a nurse in a cancer center. We have one dog, eleven horses and twenty head of cattle. Our travels have included great rentals thru the VRBO website. Owner Update: Unfortunately, Dan lost his beloved wife, Cathy, in 2016. Since then, Dan has remarried Karen and they have both retired and work the farm and travel. There is now five horses and twenty-eight head of cattle. We also have two dogs, a Miniature Schnauzer named Savannah and a Bullmastiff pup named Sage who roam the farm and love to greet the guests.
Why they chose this property
Cathy and Dan built the house and barn while raising their four children, fourteen years ago. Now that the kids are gone; we're finding that we have lots of space to share. The apartment was built for our son and his wife six years ago. They moved into their own home, so we decided to give vacation rentals a try.
What makes this property unique
Guests can enjoy rest and relaxation away from the city. It's an opportunity to experience a real farm while sightseeing and enjoying our lovely valley. The apartment size is approximately 1200 sq feet. Very peaceful, quiet, lovely sunsets can be viewed from the hot tub. We farm hay, so 3-4 times each summer guests can view the harvest and smell fresh mowed hay. Pets love it here!
