The Schoolhouse · The Schoolhouse

This newly remodeled turn-of-the-century duplex was one of the original schools in Walla Walla. Completely remodeled in 2016, the "Schoolhouse" is now yours to enjoy.

Original hardwoods and coved ceilings still adorn the rooms. All new furnishings, fixtures and appointments have been installed throughout. The private fenced backyard is ideal for grilling on the BBQ and outdoor dining.

A quick walk to downtown Walla Walla.

We had a lovely visit with our family in Walla Walla. The location was perfect for an easy walk to downtown restaurants and tasting rooms. The home was cozy and well equiped, and beds were very comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Friends & I stayed here for our girls getaway in Walla Walla. The house is super cute! We loved our stay. Close to downtown. Highly recommend staying here. I know we'll be back!

What a cute house! It was immaculately clean and decorated in a stylish way. You could walk to downtown from the house to restaurants and tasting rooms. Would for sure stay there again if we’re back to Walla Walla!!

Plenty of room for 3 couples. Extremely clean, comfortable and beds were cozy with nice linens. We had everything we needed. Location within 5 min walk of downtown Walla Walla. The property manager is very communicative. Great stay.

Planned a girls trip to Walla Walla The accommodations were as advertised. Clean and well stocked. Our only complaint was the beds were a bit too firm for our liking, other than that great property.

We did a girls weekend. The schoolhouse was located within walking distance to Main Street shops and restaurants. It was very clean and well appointed.

We had a great two-night stay at the Schoolhouse. The house was clean, in walking distance to downtown Walla Walla, and well appointed. It was one of the best vacation rentals at which we have ever stayed. Every little detail was thought of, from fresh coffee beans and grinder, washer and dryer, to plush towels, robes, and slippers, as well as great toiletries and a clean grill. The bedrooms had comfortable mattresses, with two bedrooms having a TV and the couch in the living room was large enough for three people to sit comfortably and it also has an additional chair. We used the internet to stream some movies and it buffered a couple of times but mostly worked fine. We would definitely stay at the Schoolhouse again.

Girls weekend

Very cute and quaint property and very quiet neighborhood. Would definitely look to staying here again since it is very close and walking distance to downtown!

The house worked great for our needs. We would stay here again. Well stocked, walk to Whitman, walk to downtown, and clean. We arrived a little early and the host was accomodating.

Nice stay in Wine Country

Convenient location. Smaller common rooms, but adequate for us! Location is very walkable to downtown and Whitman. Gotta walk by a number of unkept houses in the neighborhood, but that seems to be the case in all of Walla Walla.

Great spot

We loved our stay at the Schoolhouse! The house is well equipped & clean, with a cozy vibe. The location is great. It's a walkable distance to downtown, Whitman & a grocery store. It was a perfect spot for our group of friends to base out of to bike and wine-taste. We highly recommend the Schoolhouse!

Very Nice House in Walla Walla

My husband, teenage daughter and I stayed at this great home while visiting Whitman College in Walla Walla. It was very conveniently located, beautifully decorated, and well stocked. It was our first time in Walla Walla and we enjoyed the restaurants and wine tastings. I would recommend this home if you are in the area.

Centrally located, pleasant accommodation

several girlfriends and myself enjoyed our stay at the school house during a spring weekend. The house was very centrally located to downtown (walking distance) and had nice accommodations to accommodate three people. A nice bonus, given unseasonably warm temperatures was air conditioning and fans available!

Cute home in Walla Walla

Easy walking distance to downtown. Also very close the Walla Walla Sweets if you like baseball. We noticed there was a water park in walking distance but didnt get to go to it.

Great Place to Stay in Walla Walla!

This home is very welcoming. It had spots for us to visit in outdoors and inside. The bathrooms were clean. The beds and bedding so comfortable. The air conditioning was perfect. I liked the table inside the front window. Great to look out at the neighborhood trees and drop all our belonging, when we returned from shopping. Thanks so much for keeping our visit easy and fun!

cute and cozy house - best for dog lovers

The Schoolhouse was a great base of operations during our recent 5-day visit to Walla Walla. The only concern was the amount of dog hair from the pets of previous renters (it was a different color and texture from our dog's fur) - and it showed up in unexpected places. For people that NEED their email fix, the WIFI was great.
