Disappointed in SA
Property is an older somewhat updated home. Excited about the location and opportunity to have all our family together for the SA Fiesta weekend. However, upon arrival, a layer of dust on ALL surfaces obviously from very recent drywall construction activity. Dust not merely annoying BUT very concerning from a health perspective. Additionally, all the dishes had been removed to the sink so were unusable due to the dust. Refrigeration and internet was not plugged-in which we were able to determine and rectify for utilization. All was immediately reported to the owner whose ONLY respond was to send a cleaning crew the next morning. Leaving us to clean up prior to bedtime. At this point discovered that one side of the faucet in main bath did not work and tub was chipped & rusty. Obviously no preparation for our arrival . Cleaning SHOULD HAVE BEEN performed prior. On our 2nd day the AC in the downstairs failed and those of us who could fit were forced to double-up and sleep upstairs. All of this was reported to the owner at check-out hoping for some consideration of the expense incurred. We NEVER HEARD BACK. Very trying, disappointing, and WORSE VRBO stay. The property is very nice, BUT NOT THE MANAGEMENT of same!
