Dunedin Garden Cottage Quiet Roof Terrace | Walk to Downtown
This carriage house-style unit provides a bird’s eye view of St. Joseph’s Sound and Caladesi Island from a second story, 350 sq. ft. brick terrace. Great for morning breakfast, a BBQ or catching some rays.
The interior design was inspired by the charming views of the rose garden. Fine details include the original heart of pine wood floors, charming built-ins in the living room, tasteful furnishings, two TVs with VCR and DVD players, and a stereo system with surround sound.
If you enjoy cooking, the kitchen is galley style with a functional work triangle. The appliances are newer and include garbage disposal, dishwasher, space saver microwave, oven/stove and a fridge with ice maker. You have access to the laundry room just downstairs in the garage.
The floor plan encourages the cross breezes assisted by ceiling fans in the living room, dining room, and bedroom. Keep the binoculars handy as water views from most rooms may give you a peek at manatees, osprey, and dolphins just outside the windows.
Best of all, you will have access to 108 feet of private, open water views with the use of a lighted fishing dock, Adirondack chairs, a swing, and sun loungers. A bit of advice…wait for at least 10 minutes after sunset or you will miss the best part of the show!

The three week stay was very enjoyable and the social gatherings we experienced were very nice. Great location close to downtown and the Pinellas Bike Trail. The owner was very nice and provided a warm welcome to us. This property is a must stay.
The host has the property meticulously decorated to give you a sense of calm. Then you have the location which is spectacular. Walking distance to down town with its stores and boutiques and a magnificent view of the bay.

Garden Cottage Roof Top Terrace
My husband and I stayed in the roof top terrace apartment for a month and loved it. We had a few cool days, but despite that, we were able to enjoy the sunshine on the terrace almost every day. It is incredibly well-equipped and has a wonderfully comfortable king size bed. The location is fantastic. We rode bikes along Victoria Lane along the water into Dunedin or along the bike and walking trail across the street. There is a fantastic park across the street, a smaller park with a long pier a few buildings down, and the baseball stadium is within a mile. We love Dunedin and this wonderful property. We're already looking forward to next year.

Yes, those are nice units and Dunedin is a calm and charming town. This is a great rental for those who love peaceful vactions close to major attractions.
The location was fabulous, the host was extremely accommodating. Easy walk into town, lovely sunset location, beautiful property with plantings that are well maintained.
We had a wonderful stay at the Dunedin Cottages! We launched kayaks right from the property and paddled over to the small islands to relax in the sun. Also, paddled over to Caladesi through the Mangroves. Perfect location to walk downtown for dinner and icecream. The Garden Cottage has everything you would need and then some and the garage stall is a nice little added bonus! We definitely had a great time and will be back!
The location is spot on...on the sound, close to downtown and Honeymoon Island. The apartment has everything you could ever need and the deck is a relaxing place to spend time. Set your alarm for sunset...it’s a beautiful show and you have a front row seat!
Everything was great. Doggies were comfortable. Location was fantastic!

Score!
Autumn was a great host. She greeted us with a welcoming smile as we arrived, showed us our accommodations, the grounds, the dock and gave us great advise on restaurants and things to do.
The unit was very Clean and Comfortable. It usually takes me a day or two to get acclimated and comfortable in a new place. I was comfortable and relaxed right away. The kitchen had everything we needed. Laundry was available to us, a garage for the truck, bikes and towels if we needed. There was no need to go to store except for food and drink. We enjoyed the rooftop deck for morning coffee and a view of the Sound. And yes, the bed was comfortable! And yes, the cleaning fee is higher than what you usually see, but it's worth it. The place was spotless.
The property's location was perfect for us. Quiet neighborhood, so there was no loud party noise. Casual stroll to restaurants and shopping in downtown Dunedin. The Pinellas Trail is across the street for biking. Grocery store was a few miles down the road. The only time we needed to drive was to get to the beach, the grocery store, and to explore Clearwater and St Pete. Next time we will bring our kayaks since we can put in at the property.
We enjoyed our stay and Autumn took care of us without being intrusive. Definitely will return!

Great
This was a great stay. Only thing that caught me by surprise was the cost of housekeeping. Rent was around $550, but cleaning was $200. Did not catch that cost before I rented it, otherwise it was delightful.

Serenity on the bay
I stayed in the adorable Garden Cottage above the garage. The garage was an unexpected plus, especially since it was hovering in the 90's most of my stay. As it turned out, I never needed the car since everything was within walking or biking distance. Although I brought my own, there were bicycles available for use as well as beach towels and beach chairs that were kept in the garage. The cottage itself was quite quaint and reminiscent of my days as a child in the Victorian cottages on the St. Lawrence river. It was bright and cheery and stocked superbly with nearly every utensil one could possibly need. The large patio was a great place to have coffee in the morning. The location, nestled on the waterfront lined by arching oaks, was spectacular. There is a swinging chair out front for use as well as a sturdy dock to sip your wine and watch the sunsets. The owner, Autumn was extremely helpful and a delightful human being.

Fantastic location and property
House is well equipped. Great deck over looking the water. Great for morning coffee (out of the sun) and perfect for sunsets (faces west). Access to water and dock. Nice gas grill and picknic area with shade. Host is very responsive and helpful without being intrusive. Garage is nice to keep your car cool. Short walk to the town of Dunedin either by the water, walking path or sidewalk. Easy to get to honeymoon island or Clearwater beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Exceeded expectations
Garden Cottage with its rooftop terrace was a dream. Clean, incredibly well-stocked (with spices, cooking sprays, plastic wrap, extension cords and almost everything you'd have at home) and an absolutely gorgeous view. The inside is comfortable with good windows and light and air conditioners and appliances that work as they should. But it's the terrace that makes this cozy rental rise to the top of all things good. It's large with padded chaise lounges and chairs and a decent-sized umbrella. In the morning, it's shaded but still warm with birds a plenty, and in the afternoon the sun sizzles down warming the bricks and occupants. It's an incredibly peaceful location but still very convenient to a plethora of nearby parks and all the retail establishments you'd find in any big town/little city in the US. Victoria Drive itself is lovely and an easy 1/2 mile walk to the pleasantly walkable town center and marina. The owner, Autumn, is very helpful, full of ideas, and amazingly responsive to any questions or needs.

We live in the area and needed a place to stay while our home was being renovated. We highly recommend the Dunedin Cottages. Ours was super clean and included everything necessary for a wonderful stay/vacation.
The owner lives on the property and is extremely guest focused!! The views of the inter coastal and evening sunsets are wonderful. The cottage even came with a garage from my car. The cottages are within walking distance to all the great activities and restaurants in down town Dunedin.
I highly recommend the property for all guests including locals like us!!

Very nice week
We spent a week in this venue to celebrate an anniversary milestone and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage was attractive, very clean and fully stocked. I mean, everything you could need. Great views from the terrace. A walk down Victoria Drive is a throwback to Florida's early 20th Century winter homes for northern rich folk. Location is great to explore downtown Dunedin on foot. Just a few blocks to downtown. Also, just a couple of miles to Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island, two of Florida's best beaches.
