Welcome to The Dude’s House on Lake Dunlap!

Lake Dunlap is back to it's full height! The dam construction was completed last year and the lake is back! Dunlap is a dammed portion of the most beautiful river in Texas, the Guadalupe River.

With 2 living rooms and enough beds to comfortably sleep 14-people, our lake house is great for families and friend groups. There are multiple lounge areas outside including a BBQ grill, fire pit, and hammock. More into video games? Have fun with the arcade games upstairs.

Looking to come to New Braunfels for a river float weekend? We've got you covered. This house is about a 15-minute drive to the tubing launch locations. Uber and Lyft both service the area.

The Dude's House is 7-minutes to downtown New Braunfels and about 15-minutes to Gruene.

Hi everyone! My name is Trey, and I am from Austin, Texas. I love water sports, travel, and bring a dad.

Why they chose this property

My family has been a part of the New Braunfels community since the 1850s. Purchasing this property allowed us to be close to family and scratch the itch of having a place on the water. We are excited to share it with all of our guests and allow them to experience the beauty and relaxation New Braunfels has to offer.

What makes this property unique

This is a great house for families traveling together. There are two living spaces that allow for some separation and privacy if you want it. The back yard is large enough for just about any yard games you have in mind, and the water is the clean beautiful Guadalupe River water of Lake Dunlap.
