Perched high atop exclusive Utah Mountain, this cozy retreat lives up to its name—offering long-range, year-round Smoky Mountain views, peaceful surroundings, and all the comforts of home.

THE SPACE

This inviting mountain cabin sleeps six guests comfortably and features:
• 3 Bedrooms: 1 king, 1 queen, and 2 twin beds
• 2 Full Bathrooms
• Washer and dryer

The open-concept living area includes a gas fireplace and large windows that frame breathtaking mountain scenery. Perfect for families or couples seeking a relaxing Smoky Mountain getaway.

RELAXATION & OUTDOOR LIVING

Step outside and enjoy the hot tub, gas grill, and fire pit while taking in sweeping mountain views. Relax on the front porch or one of two spacious back decks—ideal for morning coffee or evening stargazing.

At over 4,000 feet above sea level, guests can enjoy the cool, crisp mountain air year-round. The driveway accommodates two to three vehicles for easy access.

AMENITIES

• High-speed Wi-Fi throughout the home (great for streaming or remote work)
• Linens and towels provided
• Washer/dryer
• Fully stocked kitchen with cookware, dishes, utensils, and both a Keurig and regular coffee maker
• Starter sets of paper products and soaps included (guests may need to restock for longer stays)
• Pet-friendly: up to two dogs allowed with a one-time $75 + tax fee per dog
• NO smoking inside the home

ACCESS & SEASONAL TRAVEL NOTE

A four-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive vehicle is required during the winter months (November 1 through mid-April) due to possible snow and icy mountain roads. The property is accessible year-round, but weather conditions can change quickly at higher elevations—please plan accordingly.

Situated between Maggie Valley and Waynesville, the cabin offers a peaceful mountain setting close to local favorites:
• Downtown Maggie Valley – 10 minutes
• Downtown Waynesville – 15 minutes
• Blue Ridge Parkway – 15 minutes
• Cataloochee Ski Resort & Horse Ranch – 15 minutes
• Harrah’s Cherokee Casino – 30 minutes
• Asheville & Biltmore Estate – 40 minutes

Guests can also enjoy scenic day trips to Nantahala or Ocoee for white-water rafting, or explore nearby attractions like Grandfather Mountain, Lake Lure, Hot Springs, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville—all within easy driving distance.

GUEST NOTES

There is no trash pickup on Utah Mountain. Guests are responsible for taking trash to the designated dumpster before checkout or may leave $5 per bag (maximum 4 bags) for cleaners to handle disposal. Thank you for helping us keep the mountain clean and beautiful.

Amazing Views are true!

We enjoyed an excellent 3 night stay and highly recommend this home. It was very clean, kitchen fully stocked, bed and linens comfortable and the hot tub was awesome. The views are AMAZING…from the back porch, hot tub and just sitting in the comfy recliners watching the sunrise. We will defiantly be back.

Stunning Property

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The inside of the property was very beautiful, similar to the picture. The only issues we came upon was the water pressure being inconsistent, some of the lights did not work, and there were animals hairs on the rugs which triggered some of our allergies.

A Wonderful Time in the Mountains

Everything was great from the time we arrived until the time of our departure. The house was clean and comfortable, including a beautiful view of the valley below Utah Mountain. Carolina Mountain Vacation Homes who manage the property were great and made sure our stay went off without a hitch. They were helpful and accommodating. We had a great time and plan to return in the future.

We stayed here to work from home for the week to enjoy the views, chill in the hot tub, and do some hiking in our down time. It checked all of those boxes. It's a solid 10-15 minute drive straight up the mountain, but it isn't too bad when warm out. The view from the patio is to die for and made waking up everyday a joy. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic!

We spent a wonderful week with family during Christmas and it was amazing! The journey up the mountain, though nearly 3 miles, was an adventure in itself, leading us to breathtaking views. Each morning, we were greeted by the most spectacular sunrises. We were able to spend time in Waynesville and Maggie Valley, went skiing, visited Bryson City and Cherokee where we saw plenty of Elk. Truly a memorable holiday experience! And the best part was we were able to bring our furry family with us! Would recommend!

Mountain Weekend

Lovely getaway to this beautiful house! It is a long drive up the mountain but the view was awesome. The space was just what we required and we utilized the kitchen a bit. We would have brought cooking oil and kitchen towels to aid us but otherwise had everything we needed. Recommend!!

Beautiful sunrise view, comfortable beds, great location. The home needed a better cleaning. Floors had dog hair and I swept up the best I could. It would be good to add a small hand vac. Other than that everything was great.

Amazing Views is Wonderful

Exceptional listing. The view of the valley from the rear porch is incredible. Property contains all modern amenities including hot tub, gas range, fully stocked kitchen utensils, master soaking tub, large TV with additional TV’s in secondary bedrooms, gas fireplace, and very nice appointed furniture. Plenty of room for larger families or group of visitors. The road to the top of the mountain is a bit steep but we had no trouble navigating it to the house. The pictures tell it all and represent the property very well. We loved our 4 night stay and would definitely stay here again!!

The property was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything worked well. The only complaint I have is that there was no shampoo. Also, there was limited toiletries (e. g., after the second day, we had to purchase our own toilet paper).

What a Driveway!

My wife and I and our dog “Donkey” stayed at this property for week and enjoyed the property very much. It does check all the boxes for us! Clean, Private/Secluded, off the beaten path, Modern, Comfortable (with some of the nicest Living Room Furniture i’ve experienced in many VRBO properties we have stayed at), attractive “Cabin feel at least in living area”, on a driveway that is guaranteed to make your ears pop! Truly Amazing View

We wanted an excellent view for leaf watching. This place was perfect. Hot tub functioned well and was out on a lower deck. Trouble with the gas fireplace. Excellent communication with the PM but never got it to function, really don't need it. 15 minute hill climb to get to the property in your car. The price for 4,000' altitude. Walked around the neighborhood, absolutely stunning (a bit strenuous). Visited fantastic area views and attractions. Went to the motorcycle museum in Maggie Valley while my GF stayed at the house and watched movie. Enjoyed the heck out of the weekend. I would definitely go back! Thank you Melissa!!!
