About Glamping:
Glamping - Going camping, but with glamour. A combination of the two words. It's like regular camping , but with nicer things than usual, actual furniture, and more comfortable. Glamping isn't done by usual outdoor types who climb mountains.
You should probably avoid treehouses if you…
1. Don’t enjoy temps outside the normal range of your home. 2. Don’t like walking back into the woods to enjoy your treehouse. 3. Don’t want to walk to your private locked bathroom a short walk away. 4. Don’t like the idea that creatures sometimes sneak inside the treehouse, as it is not completely sealed.
If you enjoy the woods, nature, being away from city noise then you may just enjoy a stay in Riverbright.
-------------------- - We do not supply cooking utensils, pots, pans, or other kitchenware. Please bring your own. - We do not provide a burner. You will need to bring your own method of cooking if you have something that needs more attention than the grill or firepit grate can provide. - We do not provide charcoal or firewood for the grill or firepit. You will need to buy on your way to the property. - Drinking water is not supplied, please bring your own. - There is no running water in the treehouse. - As this is a glamping experience, there is no hvac.

The place was cute and cozy but could have been an improvement if the following were available: Bedroom- Curtain or blinds - soft lamp or night light - two towels per guest (one for river, one for shower or one for body and one for hair) Bathroom - hooks or shelf to put valuables in the bathroom Deck- cleaner chairs and tables

The cabins in nice location, more of camping experience (bring supplies). Definitely not suited for a Winter/Cold weather rental. I'd would try renting in the spring for sure, beautiful view.
Our stay was great. Everything was clean & as described. It is a very peaceful place to stay. Joni was very helpful & quick to respond with any questions we had.
The air conditioning worked but it didnt blow well. But everything was fine. I just wished i would have known there is no service out there because it was hard to get in the bathroom. But it was a beautiful trip overall thank you

We appreciate you staying with us in the Georgia mountains, Anna! It’s a true escape into nature, away from city noise. Hope you visit again!
Cozy, private and peaceful. The view is everything, we opened the windows and could hear the river. Everything was very clean and exactly as described. We have stayed at one of Joni’s properties before, she’s an excellent host. Will definitely stay here again, we love this area.

Due to a critter invading the treehouse property, the host cancelled my reservation the day of check-in.
Overall good, just a little odd. We didn’t get to the property until after dark so it was a little confusing to find the bathroom, which was located at the cabin, not at the treehouse, but the host was quick to assist with this issue. We did stay in February so it did get cold in the middle of the night. It seemed like the heat turned off while we were alseep. There was a squirrel in the wall of the treehouse that kept waking us up throughout the night. It was a peaceful place besides that. I think a spring/summer trip here would be more ideal than during the winter months.
t is a great place, very nice and very well located.
ideal to relax, share and enjoy nature.

Another great stay at this property. Easy access to the Toccoa and it was 10 degrees cooler than the city. Always a pleasure staying with this host. Treehouse was in perfect condition. The AC keeps it nice and cool. The staff at Suches Vacation Rentals are good folks. Very responsive and accommodating with their customers.
Great location. Great view of the river from the large window of the Treehouse. Very cool spot for a getaway. Property manager was superb with responding to any questions we had.

I liked being on the river. Didn't like the lack of privacy at Bathroom
The treehouse worked great for me since i was doing the Hooch dual sport ride out of Two Wheels of Suches 8.8 miles away.

After receiving a key code I was confused about what it was for. But, the bathroom is on the backside of an empty cabin with a coded door.
The parking is also in front of the cabin and the walk to the treehouse is behind the home. ( I would have found it easier but traffic had me arriving after dark) It's absolutely beautiful and will definitely be back!
Beautiful property, the bathroom is located at the main house, kitchen it located by the river, pack it in pack it out. Coffee maker but no coffee cups.

Thank you for sharing your experience! I’m glad you enjoyed the beauty and quiet of the property. Your note about the bathroom and kitchen setup, as well as the need to bring your own coffee cups, is helpful feedback for future guests. I hope the serene setting made for a peaceful getaway, and I’d love to host you again!
The treehouse is a perfect space to relax and unwind for a few days. The experience felt like the right balance of outdoor adventure and a calming spa retreat. I love NOT camping and the treehouse delivered a chance to experience nature without the inconvenience of roughing it. After a few nights, I returned home refreshed and restored. Exactly what I needed! Thank you for sharing this treehouse experience, Joni. You have expertly created a charming oasis of tranquility on the river.
I loved staying here! The place was adorable. Know what you're getting into: you're essentially camping but with a bed, bathroom (detached), and wifi. But as long as you're into that, you'll love it! It's tucked in the woods, right along a creek. The water sounds are so relaxing. The mountain roads all around are gorgeous. Genuinely cannot wait to go back!My only two complaints: the tub jets didn't work (but I still had a relaxing bath) and unless I was being very dumb there was no way to lock the cabin when you left for the day. There was a chain on the inside to lock it when you're sleeping but I did feel weird about leaving my stuff all in there unattended when I was out. But I guess that's also similar to camping, it just felt a little different because I had brought a laptop to write while I was there.Already planning my next stay here!

We really enjoyed our stay at the treehouse. The nature around us was spectacular. The treehouse had everything we needed for a quiet stay. We enjoyed the privacy and seclusion. You might consider better instructions for turning on the heat. We were only able to get the AC going. Not a complaint, just a suggestion. Loved it.

Thank you for sharing your experience! I’m so glad the treehouse provided a quiet, nature-filled retreat and had everything you needed. I appreciate your feedback about the heating instructions—it’s a helpful suggestion, and I’ll make sure to clarify those for future guests. Your enjoyment of the privacy and spectacular surroundings means a lot, and I’d love to welcome you back for another peaceful getaway in the future!
Most everything was as advertised. Beautiful view, quiet, peaceful location. Jetted Tub did not Jet, no lights for the stairs from the treehouse. We heard what sounded like a mouse the 1st night. I located a nest under the floor of the treehouse & message the host about it. Was told they couldn’t come out & set a trap because they had to use the exterminator which wasn’t scheduled to come out for 2 more days. So I ended up getting the trap myself & caught the mouse myself.
We loved the comfort and coziness of the treehouse. We were looking for a night of camping with benefits and this was the perfect spot. It is rural with no ATT service, but the WiFi works. The bathroom is a short walk from the tree house attached to the main house in front of it. It is literallly on the river with a fire ring and outdoor kitchen between the treehouse and river. Basic utensils are provided. Bring charcoal if you wish to grill. There are fishing poles there as well should you want to fish. It is about a 45 minute drive to either Dahlonega or Blue Ridge, so stop on your way in for the things you might need. No refrigerator so a cooler would be recommended for perishables. 5 out of 5 from me.
This was the quiet, peaceful getaway that we needed. The property is right on the riverbank, and close to an access spot to walk down and wade in the river itself. (I recommend Tevas style sandals for this.) There is no cell signal, so no distractions from the beauty of the location. The outdoor kitchen is perfect for making simple camp meals, and the fire pit is a relaxing spot to sit and enjoy. It's private without feeling too remote or creepy. My suggestions are to bring a lantern or candle to use inside the cabin at night, since the lighting is sparse, and be very careful on the stairs. They are a bit uneven and very slippery after rain.
