Quaint Home Near the Zoo

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This is a small 2 bedroom apartment located on the first floor of a duplex in Cleveland’s Old Brooklyn neighborhood. We provide our guests self check in for their convenience. Pets are welcome. We are centrally located just one block south of the Cleveland Zoo. Nine minutes from downtown Cleveland.
The space
This is located on the first floor of a two family home. It’s a small two bedroom apartment with a nice open centralized kitchen and recently remodeled bathroom. Guests have access to the back yard and one parking spot in front of the garage in the driveway. Guests have access to our wifi. Each bedroom is equipped with a 46 inch smart tv and the living room has a 50 inch smart tv. Each bedroom has a queen size bed and the third bed is a futon in the living room/dining room area. The futon is best suited for one adult or 2 smaller people/children.
Guest access
Guests have the entire first floor apartment to themselves. Guests may have access to the basement/laundry by request only. The basement is considered a common space and you may hear another guest doing laundry on occasion but it’s pretty rare. It is also used by our cleaner for supplies and they may be in the basement to retrieve supplies for the other unit. We provide one parking spot per unit in front of the garage but there is also plenty of free overnight street parking if that is their preference. The garage is off limits. The yard is shared with the other unit. The first floor guests have the front porch to themselves.

Early Check In, Late Check Out-

We offer early check in and late check out at a rate of $8.75/hour. We strongly encourage guests to request this when they make their reservation, guests may request after but it can affect our ability to accommodate the request. Please note once we have confirmed the request guests must send a message the day before check in to remind us to ensure the listing is ready upon your arrival. Failure to send the message the day before may result in the loss of early check in. We ask that you follow the same guidelines for late check out except send the reminder the day before check out. These fees will be billed separately from your reservation, you will not be billed until after you have checked in/out.

Moving/Box Truck Accommodation-

We understand how stressful moving can be! Please let us know prior to your stay if you need special parking allowances for a larger moving vehicle like a uhaul, box truck, or trailer. Most of the time we can work with the other guests to allow you to use the driveway during your stay. Although we have never had any issues with theft, we like to offer our guests peace of mind while they travel with all their irreplaceables and personal belongings.

Pet Services-

I worked for a pet sitting service in college, I am a pet owner myself and I have many years of experience doing volunteer work for shelters and rescues. I’d be more than happy to assist with pet care in any capacity for a small fee throughout your stay. Anything from potty breaks, walks, feedings, or giving meds etc. Just ask!

Long Term Stay Discounts-

We often adjust our rates and it can be difficult to factor in what this does to our long term rates. If you’d like to stay with us long term but have a set budget we are open to discussing this with potential guests. It doesn’t hurt to ask, doesn’t bother us to say no, but you’ll never know if you don’t try! Please note we also offer long term guests access to our washer and dryer. At any given time we may also have an unlisted property that you can book either thru a direct booking or the platform.

Photo Shoots & Filming-

Please let us know if you’d like to book the property for a photo shoot or for filming. We can bill you hourly here on the listing platform. Our listings are usually $30/hr with a minimum of 2hrs. No cleaning fees apply.
