The Luana Waikiki Hotel is one of the premier hotels buildings in the Fort DeRussy area. The hotel was originally built in 1971, designed by the architectural firm Gensler. The hotel was fully renovated in 2004 and features modern, Hawaiian-inspired décor and offers guests a variety of amenities, including a rooftop pool, fitness center. Many rooms have since undergone additional upgrades and renovations to ensure comfort and additional modern amenities.

Nice all around pick

This is a nice alternative to a hotel. For the family, it just has more room, free parking, good location, and nice options within walking distance. On the 12th floor, so it had a nice view of surrounding area. No regrets.

Great location

The location of this condo is great - you can walk to most things in Waikiki. Overall the condo is well-equipped. We were glad there were beach towels, beach chairs and beach umbrellas. There are some minor repairs that need to be made, such as lights that don't work, remotes that need batteries and the safe is broken, but otherwise it was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Very good experience

The room is a bit dated and in need of some TLC so it wasn't perfect. However, with that said. It provided us with what we needed at the time and at a very fair price. Unless you require the ultimate in luxury, you can't go wrong with place. It is clean and comfortable and a fine place to lay your head at the end of a busy day. Close to plenty of shopping, beaches, ect.

Okay for Waikiki.

Everything is so expensive. Tub is clogged, had to have someone come in and deal with it. Then I had to catch a huge cockroach. Yuk. Vacuum is filthy and skinks, dryer doesn’t dry even though it gets really hot. Managers weren’t great. Otherwise ok if you want a kitchen. I would never go back.
