Lovely La Fortuna Getaway
We had a great time at this property. I really like that there was a pool. And the property is very well kept with a functional kitchen and a nice big refrigerator. The host is very responsive to questions and concerns which was great. Also, the Wi-Fi is very strong. I recommend getting a rental car if you stay at this property because it’s about an 8 to 10 minute drive from La Fortuna. There was a bridge out on one of the roads, and I understand that if that bridge would have been in, it would’ve been more like a 5 minute drive. We did walk back one day using that route and it was a 20 minute walk.
If you want to be in the thick of things in town, this is probably not the best location, but it is perfect for a family especially if you’re looking to spend the hot afternoon swimming. The pool is shared I believe by four other properties, but we swam every day and did not encounter anyone else.
Overall, I would recommend this location if you are looking for a little bit more privacy and have a rental car.
