Chalet Détente Orford is a charming condominium-chalet, recently renovated with all the commodities for a perfect vacation and one of the very few properties, in Orford, accredited by Vélo Québec as bicycle friendly (Bienvenue Cyclistes).

You will enjoy one closed bedroom, full bathroom,  cozy living room with its fireplace, Smart TV and a sofa-bed (Queen). Take time to relax and play Monopoly, Scrabble or a game of cards (all in the Chalet). 

The ultra functional and modern kitchen is fully equipped. In the summer you can enjoy diner on the terrasse with a BBQ at your disposal. Free reserved private parking for 1 car and access to an extra parking space in the visitors' section. Our private shed will enable you to securely store your bicycle in summer and your ski equipment in winter.

Our chalet gives you access to a private lake at walking distance (Lac à l'écluse).

Chalet Détente Orford is located in the Jardin des sables domain in Orford. A quiet, relaxing and peaceful environment yet close to all vacation amenities.

Family visit

We were in Canada visiting my niece and her family. The condo was only a short 10 min drive away. It was very comfortable-very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Neighborhood was very scenic and quiet.

Comfortable, clean and well-stocked condo to use as a base for exploring the Magog area of the Eastern Townships. Bakery/cafe just a 5- minute walk away! Florence was excellent and quick to respond to any questions we had.

Sweet Condo Getaway

We spent two days on the long weekend of May at this beautiful renovated condo. Everything is as the photos - - clean, fresh, newly done bathroom and kitchen, which was well stocked with everything needed for a stay of any length. The bedding was lovely, the bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet. The area where the condo is located is near Parc Orford where one can golf, hike, bike and many other family activities. On the flip side, this area is also a winter haven for downhill, cross-country, snow shoeing, hiking, etc. Nature at it's best! You are minutes away from the town of Magog, where there is shopping for groceries, many restaurants, shops and local spots to visit. We highly recommend this place; Florence was very receptive and responsive to our needs. We will return!

7 day stay - Great place

The condo is in great shape (clean and modern) and very well equipped. The location was close to a lot of hiking trails. Florence was very responsive to us before and during our stay. It exceeded our expectations and we plan to use this for future trips to this area.

The Eastern Townships are one of the most beautiful regions of Quebec. Mountains, lakes, countryside vistas and peaceful moments make this area a wonderful getaway from it all. Orford has the great advantage of being only minutes away from a great ski resort (Mont-Orford), golf courses, a national park and the beautiful Memphremagog lake !

What makes this property unique

Our condo-chalet has been completely renovated in 2023. Everything has been set up with our guests comfort in mind. We are one of the very few properties certified by Vélo-Québec as "bicycle friendly", thus offering our guests a secure shed to store their bikes with access to a bike pump and an emergency repair kit ! We also have partnerships with Spa Nordic Station in Magog and Escapade Memphremagog (cruises) which provide our guests with rebates on their services.
