Had great time visiting Yellowstone and the Great Tetons!! The cabin was beautiful and had everything you needed. Mark called the day of our arrival and was very welcoming. Came home one day and had family 4 deer laying by the garage.
We spent 2 days exploring Yellowstone and the area. Very much enjoyed the beauty of the area. The house worked out great for the 6 of us. It was clean and provided all the kitchen products, paper products and bathroom supplies that was needed. The check in was extremely easy and the owner called to check on us when we got there and before we left.
What an amazing place to stay. Not only was the cabin and amenities top notch but the wildlife we seen from the porch was awesome. Moose, Elk, Mule Deer, Fox plus a friendly neighbor dog
We were looking for a nice quiet place in the woods while visiting Yellowstone and the Tetons with the family. We enjoyed the hot tub, outside, fire pit, and the game room downstairs. If you do decide to stay here, we’d highly recommend Connie‘s to go out to dinner and lunch.
The cabin is really beautiful and well maintained. There is lots of space for everyone to spread out, comfortable beds and all of the amenities you need! Kids really enjoyed the game room and hot tub. We would definitely stay here again!
A lovely cabin with all the amenities and peacefulness we were looking for. A little bit of a drive to go to activities but it was nice to come back to the cabin at night to have downtime.
Overall we were happy with our stay. Had some trouble with keypad entry but owner quickly resolved. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. After long days in Yellowstone and Tetons, the drive back was longer than ideal. Very quiet and well maintained cabin. After long days hiking, we were too tired to use lower level entertainment.
Absolutely beautiful home and property! Cabin was excellent and couldn't ask for better surrounding property! Mark is an excellent host. Very responsive. Would definitely stay here again when planning a trip to the area!
Loved our stay at this cabin in the woods! Everything we needed was included. Owners called and checked on us to see if we needed anything. Even saw a moose in the yard in the mornings. We enjoyed the game room, hot tub and fire pit. We would book again for sure!
The cabin was everything we hoped for. It was well stocked with more than enough supplies for our trip. Mark was super quick with responses to our questions and more than accommodating. We made use of the hot tub and game room after our long days in the parks. I would definitely stay again.
Very beautiful and clean!! Owner promptly responses. Information needed was sent way in advance! Very spacious area. Would stay there again if I come back this direction.
We had a great time! The cabin is comfortable and full of everything a family needs to enjoy a Yellowstone vacation. We were able to get groceries from a new store in the area, fishing and lazy rafting are available nearby also. A couple of trips into West Yellowstone and the park was amazing. Plenty of wildlife in the area to view as well. We look forward to coming back! You will not be disappointed.
We had a really great time! My husband and I stayed with our adult sons and my dad. This house was fantastic—the ping pong/pool table, air hockey table, hot tub, and more were all so great. We took many day trips around Yellowstone and even Island Park/Mesa Falls locations. It couldn’t have gone better! We will return!
What a great cabin in the woods. Great communication with Mark the owner. The kitchen was well stocked. Perfect sleeping for our 2 families. The pool table and air hockey table was fun for our grandkids. The hot tub was a big hit for us after visiting Yellowstone. Only disappointment was no bear or moose sightings, but that isn’t the fault of the owners. Lol! Overall it was an excellent place to stay.
This was a truly wonderful experience! The home is a beautiful log cabin nestled in a quiet, semi-remote neighborhood. The home had everything we needed and more. The property owner was extremely helpful and even called when we arrived to check in on us. The place was well-stocked with everything you need, they even had litttle bottles of shampoo and soap in the bathrooms and was very clean. The hot tub and fire pit were huge bonuses as well. The game room was a big plus for families with a pool table, air hockey and lots of board games! Truly an exceptional experience. This was my first time using VRBO and the first time our family has had a reunion in decades and I cannot say enough about what a pleasant experience this was for all pf us!
The cabin is lovely and had all the amenities you would need. We were a bit dissappointed that we didn't see any animals but of course that had no bearing on our stay LOL. We traveled from Idaho into Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and everywhere in between and beyond. The owner was very reponsive and was very
accomodating since we arrived before our scheduled check in time. The cabin had many more beds then we expected. It was a very nice stay and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful stay.
Side note I highly suggest if in the area go visit the West Yellowstone Rodeo. What an experience!
The cabin has everything you will need. Bug spray, bear spray , plenty of dishes, pot pans, condiments. Bathrooms had extra toiletries, plenty of towels. Very clean !!! This cabin has enough room for three families. Two bedrooms one full bath first floor , two queen beds , loft and full bath upstairs, basement one bedroom queen bed, and bunk bed in living area and full bath. Each family could have their own floor. Pool table , air hockey also in basement. We seen deer, fox, and a bull moose on the road leading to property. Really enjoyed our stay . The owner checked in on us on our day of arrival to make sure we had everything we need . I really appreciated that.

The perfect home for a family vacation to Yellowstone.
There is something for everyone at this cabin. It was extremely clean which is very important to me. The washer and dryer or new were models and came in extremely helpful after being there for a week. Plenty of towels for everybody, which doesn’t always happen with some of the rentals we have been in before. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen came stocked with everything we needed as far as plates, cups, plenty of silverware, spices, and more. We didn’t see any bear or moose, but there were four deer that liked to hang out and eat in the yard. The hot tub and fire pit were great after a long day at Yellowstone. It was a little bit of a drive to Yellowstone, 45 minutes to the west entrance, but we quickly got used to it. The closest full service grocery store is in West Yellowstone which is also 45 minutes away, so make sure to grab some groceries before you get to the house. We would definitely recommend this cabin to all of our friends and family visiting Yellowstone. Thank you so much for offering such a wonderful home.
We enjoyed this cabin as it was tucked in the woods not far from town. We were greeted every night by the locals (animals)….and it was peaceful and perfect!
Very happy with our experiance at this cabin. The cabin is very comfortable and set up for easy living. We loved it all and the owner was great to work with..

My wife and I are from this area and always wanted a log cabin in the woods in Island Park. We bought the property in 2000 and built the cabin in 2002. It has been a great place for our family to gather for holidays and vacations. I'm sure you will find it just as enchanting as we have.
Why they chose this property
Island Park is a special place. Our cabin is a special place. Read the reviews! All our family and friends love the place, and they slip right into "cabin mode" when they enter. Kick off your shoes and just relax. Or, go for a nice walk in the woods. Most of summer visitors come to see Yellowstone National Park only 35 miles away. If you are into fishing, the famous Henry's Fork is just a few miles away.
If you are into snowmobiling (we are too!), the best snowmobiling is just across the road!
Please note that while we allow snowmobiles at the cabin during the winter; we do not allow ATV's (Quads, Side by Sides, etc.) or dirt motorcycles at anytime.
What makes this property unique
Quiet. Very comfortable. Close to Yellowstone National Park. But, far enough a way that you don't have all the traffic if you want to relax. Fishing: Henry's Fork, Henry's Lake, Island Park Res. Horseback riding at Eagle Ridge Ranch is just a few miles away. Located on 5 wooded acres. Great backpacking and camping at nearby Blair Lake on the Idaho/Montana border.
Snowmobiling: access to Keg springs, Jefferson, Reas Peak, Bishop Mountain.
The family will love the area.
