A two-bedroom, 1-bath apartment located on Main Street in downtown Hot Springs offering convenient access to The Homestead, Snead's Tavern, micropub BACOVA BEER and many other downtown locations, all within walking distance. In addition, there is the newly leased space, formerly Duck In Deli and Market, that is now Claire's Cakes and Cafe offering breakfast, deli sandwiches, soups, salads, espresso, hand dipped ice cream and milkshakes.
Main Street Apartment overlooks downtown Hot Springs while the Creek Side Apartment faces the spring fed stream at the rear of the building.
The MAIN STREET APARTMENT includes a large comfortable living area (with pull out queen bed), dining area, a full kitchen with Washer & Dryer, two spacious bedrooms (one with queen bed and the other with two double beds) and a full bath. There is a 60" flat screen TV in the living room with streaming service and excellent WiFi throughout.

This wonderful gem of an apartment was exactly as advertised. Location was fantastic, easy walk to the Homestead, golf, restaurants, spa, etc. The kitchen had everything we needed, beds were comfortable, TV was easy to use, and overall it was a great stay. Pat the host was easy to communicate with and promptly replied to messages. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

Hot Springs Apartment

Our stay was great. The Main Street apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and quiet. Access was easy and the downtown Hot Springs shops (plus the Homestead) were right there - an easy walk to everything. We'd definitely stay there again.

Wild and Wonderful Hot Springs!

My husband and I stayed in the Main Street Apartment a few weekends back for our anniversary. It was fantastic and we will absolutely be coming back! The apartment is literal steps from the Homestead, across the street from a great pub/bar and next door to an ABC store. We had such a great time!

Perfect for a weekend getaway!

The property was very clean, well appointed, had everything we needed. We felt very comfortable and relaxed in the space. We could walk to the Omni Homestead where did a few activities and that was nice. A few notes, knives need sharpening and one of the windows in the living room was not able to be shut all the way, which added to some noise, and turning up the heat. All in all, great stay!

The unit was comfortable and well located. The access of the bathroom through a bedroom was a tad awkward, but I traveled with a good friend….so it worked out. I left coffee w/filter so the next renter doesn’t have to wait till a store opens. All in all it’s a good price for the one of my favorite areas.

Convenienience at a 400 level

Was in Hot Springs for a conference at the Homestead. This VRBO is perfectly located in downtown, and its literally a stones throw from the Homestead. I'll be honest, We got of to a rough start. The cleaning crew hadn't turned over the location. Beds and trash still unmade. Wasn't thrilled with that. I said I was going to get a bite to eat, Sam Sneads, and just let me know what the plan was. The PM promptly came and let me into another apartment while he personally turned over the originally reserved property with the option to go back to the one that I originally reserved (better one of the two). You know, things happen, and they made the effort to make things right. To me it's not what you say, it's what you say and do to make it right. Great recovery. The Market across the street, ABC store next door and Sam Sneads a block walk away... Couldnt have been more convenient. Would recommend this VRBO to anyone headed to Hot Springs.

Very clean and well stocked apartment. Good communication with owner who provided all information for check in well in advance as well as other local tips. Location great to get to local attractions and restaurants and right next to Homestead resort. Layout of bedrooms best for families. Would definitely return.

We just enjoyed a nice stay in the hot springs apartment which provided easy access to our family staying at the Homestead. It was nice having access to nearby restaurants and a full apartment.

Pat Haynes has been a resident of Bacova in Bath County, VA since 1976. Just after graduating from Princeton University, he came to Bath County to be the Tennis Director for The Homestead in 1974. In 1981 he purchased the Bacova Guild with his former assistant tennis pro, Ben Johns. At the time, The Guild was a manufacturer of hand made giftware. Most notable, the mailboxes with covers of screen printed artwork laminated in fiberglass. From 1981 - 1996 The Guild grew from 25 employees to over 700 and increased annual sales from $250,000 to over $50 million becoming the largest industry in Bath County. In 1996 they sold Bacova Guild to Burlington Industries. From 1997-2002, Pat was a Real Estate Sales Associate, and in 2003 he received his Real Estate Broker's License. Since 1980, he has owned and managed Bacova Properties, a real estate investment and property management company. It is currently the largest single source for commercial, residential, and vacation rental property in Bath County. Bacova Property's commercial locations are easily recognized by the distinctive Bacova Jockey statue located just outside each property. Pat has been active in community organizations serving as a two term President of the Bath County Chamber of Commerce, and Co-chaired the Bath County Bicentennial Committee. In 2003, he was voted Business Person of the Year.

Pat lives with his wife, Bebe, on their 500 acre farm, Barn Hill, where they raised five children. Currently there are three horses, two ponies and a donkey on the farm along with their two Newfoundlands (Porter & Stout) and three Jack Russells (Briggs, Rascal & Rufus). Guests who reside in bacovavacationrentals.com are welcome to walk the 2 1/2 mile & 4 1/2 mile Barn Hill Trails and also to enjoy their private access to The Jackson River, Hal’s Point.
