Beautiful wood burning fireplace located on back deck, perfect for smores. Back deck has comfy armchairs and an outdoor dining table. Lower level features a hot tub and a gas firepit with seating for four.

This cozy cabin is new to the rental market, and we are excited to share our family's favorite place with you! This cabin is more than a rental, it is our family's get-a-way. As such, it is outfitted more like a home than your typical rental. You will find a fully stocked kitchen, brand new mattresses and upgraded linens, and a space that has been carefully curated to support rest and relaxation.

This private retreat is conveniently located just a short 15 to 20-minute drive to downtown Ellijay and Blue Ridge, GA. It's easily accessible - no four-wheel drive needed. There is parking for two cars, and unloading is made simple with a stair-less entry.

The back deck is our favorite spot, and it will likely become yours. You will enjoy the wood burning fireplace (s'mores after dinner are never a bad idea!), the brand-new gas grill, comfy armchairs and the generously sized dining table. After dinner, take a dip in the hot tub (drained, cleaned and sanitized before each arrival) and feel your stress melt away. From this level, you have easy access to your outdoor firepit and Adirondack chairs. This is a great spot for bird watching, and you may see deer as well.

Back inside, each bedroom has a private, attached bath with walk-in shower. The primary suite has a king-sized bed, and the guest bedroom has a queen-sized bed; there is also a washer and dryer in this bedroom. Both bedrooms have new mattresses and linens and are located on opposite ends of the cabin for maximum privacy and comfort.

Your living area is open to the kitchen and the back deck. The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked, including a Keurig for your morning pot of coffee or K-cup. The living area features a large fireplace and a smart TV. There is also a DVD player and a small DVD library. This is the perfect spot to gather to play board games or watch a movie.

In addition to the close proximity to downtown Blue Ridge and Ellijay, you are just 25 minutes away from the quaint historic towns of Copperhill and McCaysville, with restaurants, shopping, river tubing and kayaking.

We do not accept pets at this time. The sofa pulls out into a double bed and would be most suitable for a child. You will be able to hear the creek and see it from the lower part of the property, but the creek is not accessible for swimming/fishing (it is across a very lightly trafficked road).

The "host fee" that VRBO displays is the cleaning fee. This goes directly to our cleaning company and ensures the cabin is kept sparkling.

PLEASE READ:
Our cabin is on well water. This water is safe for drinking, but many people choose to bring their own water for drinking.

Firewood is not provided at this time. To enjoy the outdoor deck fireplace, you will need to bring your own wood. We often purchase from the Ace Hardware in either Blue Ridge or Elijay.

The grill and the firepit use gas canisters. We do our best to ensure that extra gas canisters are always available. PLEASE let us know if you use one.

Please do not run the indoor fireplace for more than one hour at a time. All fireplaces/firepits should be turned off/fully extinguished when you leave the cabin.
