We are from Ottawa, Canada. We have fallen in love with Southwest Florida over several trips, and decided to buy a second home in Fort Myers, after a long and thorough search of the whole area. We are active people in our early 50's who love golf, tennis, walking the beach, eating great food and enjoying time with friendly neighbors. This community offers all of the above. Come and see why we love it here.
Why they chose this property
Great location, centrally located to get to almost anything you want in Southwest Florida in under 30 minutes drive. Walk 10 minutes or drive 2 minutes to Timber Creek's incredible amenity center to play sports, hit the gym, go for a swim or grab a bite or a drink at the restaurant & bar. In 30 minutes you can be at one of several amazing beaches (Fort Myers, Sanibel Island, etc), in 15 minutes you are downtown Fort Myers in the beautiful River District where you'll find great dining, shopping and entertainment. Gulf Coast Town Center mall is 15 minutes away, Miromar Premium Outlets are 25 minutes south. Golf courses are everywhere in the area. Miami or Tampa are 2-2.5 hours drive to go catch a football, baseball, basketball or hockey game. Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins spring training parks are both within minutes.
