Goldfinch Cottage: Cozy Rustic Lakefront Escape at The Pier, Perfect for 2!
Your Cozy Lakefront Escape Awaits
Relax, recharge, and soak in the beauty of spectacular sunsets at this tranquil, rustic lakefront getaway. The Goldfinch Cottage at The Pier is a charming studio retreat for two — the perfect spot to slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy the magic of lake life.
Please note: pets are not allowed.
Nestled along the shores of Canadohta Lake, Pennsylvania’s second‑largest natural lake, this cottage puts you right at the heart of nearly three miles of shoreline and endless outdoor fun. Spend your days fishing, birdwatching, playing mini golf, roller skating, exploring parks, swimming, or heading out on pontoon boats, kayaks, and paddleboards. Whether you’re planning a peaceful getaway or a work‑and‑play escape, The Pier offers the perfect blend of comfort and adventure.
Guests enjoy 100 feet of private lakefront access, complete with wide‑open views and unforgettable sunsets. And just steps away, Ruggles Park offers a small public beach, basketball court, and fishing pier — a great spot to explore and unwind. Bring lawn chairs and a cooler to make the most of your lakeside time.
There are no lifeguards on duty.
