KnotRLake a cozy get-a-way with a lake view!

Kick back and relax in this stylish recently renovated one bedroom one bath home with a beautiful lake view. Brand new in 2025 this home features a spacious wraparound deck. It is fully equipped with both a grill and a Blackstone along with a dining set that seat six. There is also a comfortable seating area to relax in and a bistro table for coffee in the morning or a cocktail at night. Enjoy the view while laying in the sun on one of our chaises or grab the provided yoga mat and meditate while enjoying the view. The tidy yard is perfect for the several outdoor games provided or just to sit and relax at the fire pit while enjoying the Lake view.

Also new in 2025 in the warmer months for an additional $35 per night guests can reserve our newly renovated bunkhouse! The bunkhouse is located just feet from the main house and features 2 sets of bunkbeds and a fold out couch making plenty of room for an additional 5 guests along with table and chairs for eating or playing games, an arcade game, and a tv. Fully equipped with an air conditioner this is the perfect hang out for kids and adults alike! Be sure to check out the pictures and message me for an updated price quote before booking as this is an add -on.

Pets are allowed for an additional $50.00. Your dogs will have use of the doggie door with its own little doggie deck!

The bedroom features a full-size bed, sitting area and plenty of space for your personal items along with a wall mounted tv.

The living room includes a pull-out sofa and seating area along with a wall mounted tv.

The additional seating area has space for an air mattress and includes a wall mounted tv.

The full kitchen includes a table for 2 and a counter bar area with stools. Ice and water are available on the front of the refrigerator.

The laundry room also stores several small kitchen appliances for guest to use.

The bathroom features a large shower and a luxurious towel warmer.

Loved our stay here. Next time, we would want to use the bunkhouse, as four large adults were not made for the space. The host thought of everything, stocked firepit, grilling and cooking options, bicycles to use, Honestly they were extremely helpful and gracious and would love to spend more time on this lake!

Pretty view

Place was really nice and well maintained. Bathroom a bit cold but had a nice towel warmer for when you got out. The front balcony was fantastic for sunset views.

Home away from home!

Perfect stay for our family of 4 (plus our pup)! The details were perfect and the communication was wonderful. We all enjoyed the newly added deck, and the little bunkhouse was so cute! You won't be disappointed!

We absolutely loved our stay at the KnotR Lake cottage. It was so clean and meticulously decorated! The view from the deck was beautiful and the area was centrally located to great food and to the Edinboro campus. Thank you for great communication and fantastic stay!

The cabin was just what we needed as a quiet getaway from caring for our mother in her last days. It was a great little place to refresh and enjoy some peace and stillness. When we arrived the geese were still on the lake but while we were there the surface froze and became covered with a thick blanket of snow. Very pretty! The cabin was clean, well stocked, and suited our needs perfectly. The host was very responsive and flexible as our reservation had to change a bit a couple of times due to unanticipated needs. Would definitely stay there if in the area again!

Like staying at your best friend’s house

Perfect getaway

I wanted a place that was cute, clean, & comfy, with a nice view and close to outdoor winter fun. All desires were met! And boy she responsive, helpful, and timely and responding to every one of my questions. And lots of nice little extras in the home.

Amenities Galore

Although we only stayed for a weekend, we had a wonderful stay. Our dogs stayed with us, and we were very impressed with the cute little dog basket with doggie needs in the laundry room. Our daughter also loved the "spa" atmosphere and the numerous options available to pamper herself during our stay. Cozy little getaway with a lake view and had everything we needed and more for our weekend getaway!

Snowy Fun

I travel for work and I can honestly say this is one of the best places I have stayed at. Rachel went above and beyond as a host. She was very kind, polite and quick with her communication. The house was beautiful and exactly like the pictures showed. The weather threw a lot of snow on us but Rachel made sure the driveway was plowed, the trash was collected and the porch was shoveled. The house has everything you could ever need and stayed nice and warm throughout all the snow. You will not regret staying here!

Short stay

I was in town to spend time with family not too far away. Just needed a place for my son, our two dogs and me to sleep for the night. The house was perfect for what we needed. Lots of things to help make it feel welcoming. Rachel was quick to respond when I had questions, and the check in/check out was easy! I would consider staying again, but will be tough if my husband is with me only because of the double bed in the bedroom, which would be too small for both of us. If I’m solo again, I’ll come back!! Really enjoyed the house and the view was also really pretty!
