The chalet lies just beyond the edge of the forest, on the Alm Mountain, within walking distance of the town. This spacious chalet, set in a quiet location, 1900 m above sea level, 150 m from the downhill ski pistes and ski lifts. Its two floors offer up to 8 persons the chance to rest and relax. The balcony and the seating area equipped with garden furniture offer a clear view of the magnificent mountainous landscape of the Wallisser Alps.


Sporting activities: In Sion (in the valley): 18 hole golf course, open-air swimming pool, thermal baths and mountain biking in the summer. If you take the chair lift there are a variety of possibilities; hiking trails, the reservoir La Grande Dixence, Die Bisses in Wallis, in Thyon 2000 (4 km) indoor swimming pool.

In summer: The 4 Valleys region is a great place to go hiking, mountain biking and paragliding. Many excursion possibilities in Thyon 2000 (4 km), in the valley (20 km) public swimming pools, thermal baths and lake.

Fantastic Chalet, Amazing View and Location

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious chalet which is extremely well fitted-out. The Chalet is very near to the slopes, either by walking about 10 minutes up the road, or you can jump in the car and park pretty easily in which case it is super-quick. Marlene was very helpful and we cannot fault our stay. In terms of the local area I recommend the local pizzeria (la Luge) although most places are great. Take as much food as you can with you however, or stop off and stock up in Sion because the nearest supermarket in Thyon is absolutely dreadful and you will need too take out a second mortgage if you want to shop there so it's only for essentials! Thanks again to our hosts, we had a great ski holiday.

Das Chalet war wünderschön wie neu. Total gut eingerichtet. Küchengeräte und Ausstattung maximal. Wir hatten noch nie ein so sauberes Aufenthalt gefunden. Wir haben die ruhe und die Lage genossen. Schöne Terrasse wir haben alles genossen. Herzlichen Dank für diese Woche

Ferienhaus Les Marmottes Objekt-Nr.35714

Wir hatten das Chalet vom 21.03.2009 bis 28.03.2009 gemietet. Um es gleich zu sagen, 6 Personen und 1 Hund haben sich außerordentlich wohl gefühlt in diesem ganz toll ausgestatteten und gepflegten Haus.Wir fühlten uns durch die Vermieterin sehr gut unterrichtet und betreut. Die Angaben im Online-Inserat und der angetroffene Zustand entsprachen voll unseren Erwartungen. Wir haben das Feriendomizil nicht nur Freunden weiterempfohlen, sondern dieses Jahr vom 27.03.2011 für eine Woche wieder gebucht und freuen uns schon auf diese Woche.

Super Ferienparadies im Chalet "les Marmottes"

E.L. Wir waren in den diesen Sommerferien als Familie mit zwei Freundinnen im Les marmottes in den Ferien. Wir haben das Haus und den Garten, sowie die Spielwiese für die Kinder sehr genossen. Besonders willkommen war für uns der grosse Ess und Wohnzimmerbereich mit dem super grossen Tisch. Ach die Zimmer waren super eingerichtet. Überhaupt haben wir über die Einrichtung immer wieder gestaunt und zu einander gesagt, für diesen Preis so ein Chalet. Wenn wir können werden wir sicher wieder hingehen.
