Little Traverse Therapy-Hot Tub/Fire Pit/AC

Access this custom-built barndominium down a beautiful, winding forested lane which leads to this brand new Traverse City couples getaway! Located just south of Long Lake on 10.5 acres. Private and secluded, yet a short drive to downtown Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, wineries, beaches, parks, skiing, boating, fishing, and the Interlochen Academy of the Arts! You will have your own washer & dryer and all of the supplies needed for a restful stay! Less than 30 min. to ski Crystal Mountain!

Smart lock door code will be provided prior to your arrival, allowing you to check in at your convenience. Guests will typically check in and spend the duration of their stay without seeing us. We are available 24/7 by text or phone should you have any needs or requests.

Secluded, heavily forested area with swale view.

Enjoy rejuvenating in the hot tub on the private backyard, relaxing on the expansive covered porch with gorgeous forest views, and making memories around the campfire. We have Reverse Osmosis water...no need to buy/bring bottled water - you will have the highest quality filtered water right at the kitchen sink!

The Master Bedroom suite boosts our favorite king mattress and custom built 2 person shower. In this house, we also have our favorite couch and our favorite hot tub. We love coming here to enjoy them and think you will too!

In the living room, we have a Queen Murphy bed.

We partner with Shady Lane Cellars to provide you with "buy one, get one free" wine tasting and with Suttons Bay Bikes to give you 10% off e-bikes, bikes, kayaks, SUPs, and tours. Many guests enjoy riding the Tart Trail to Shady Lane Cellars for wine tasting!

We’ve partnered with Stocked, a local grocery delivery service, to make your arrival effortless. Your delivery fee is covered — simply order ahead, and walk into a home with your groceries already waiting.

The house is professionally cleaned between each guest.

We do allow pets. We ask guests to pay an additional $50 per pet. Here are some pet rules we ask you to abide by:
– Housebroken pets only
– Please crate your pet if you leave your pet home alone.
– Please clean up in the yard after your pet.
– Please keep pets off of furniture, beds , and carpeted bedrooms.
- Please wipe their paws off before coming into the house.

Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid (minus the 10% processing fee). Everything was very clean upon our arrival. The first night we decided to make dinner and there was everything we needed, utensils, pans, etc. The only thing we noticed was there was no cookie sheet for making cookies, this was literally the only downside out of the entire stay which was not a big deal. The host's were great, they were very respectful of our privacy and made sure we knew if anything was needed we could contact them. Though we didn't have any pets, the place is definitely pet friendly. Overall we had a great experience with no complaints and will definitely look at booking with them again for future trips.

Refreshing and Rejuvenating Birthday Stay

Kelsey did a great job of making the place feel like home. Plenty of towels and linens, ingredients and cookware in the kitchen, accessories and other supplies throughout the house. There was plenty of privacy and Kelsey was extremely responsive and attentive throughout the stay. I plan on coming back with the kids, as well as exploring other properties of theirs. You nailed it with Little Traverse Therapy. For the two of us and our two dogs, the space was perfect. Sitting on the large porch, whether in the hot tub or the variety of other seating options, looking out over the marsh and wooded areas and not seeing any other houses or people, was our favorite part of the trip. Every detail is well thought out in this space (as it was in our previous stay at another one of your rentals). When traveling to the Traverse City area, Traverse City Getaway will be our first stop when looking for a place to stay!

The only issue we had was when we got there it was hard to figure out where to go in we tried to get into the barn portion and no lights on. It is the perfect little get away. We had dogs it would be better when grass is planted it was difficult to keep their feet clean. But the home was very clean, they answered when I texted, and enjoyed the stay there. I would recommend and we would go back there.
