Perfect place for family Christmas time

Big enough for a real get-together with kids and grandkids. Never ran out of things to do. Perfect kitchen to create a delishious meal and eat together as a family, The kids even put away their electronics.

Stay near Wisconsin Dells

The house and property were perfect for our weekend visit to the Dells. A short drive from all of the attractions but private enough to not feel like we were in a tourist area. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of space for our family and lots of things for the kids to do. We would definitely stay again. Owner was helpful and quick to respond to any questions.

Late Xmas Celebration with Nana

We had an amazing time - gathered the troops (kids & grandkids) from Minnesota and Illinois and we played Air Hockey, Table Tennis, Solved a Murder (murder mystery game), took family pictures and on and on. What a perfect place to do all of this and most importantly made a family memory (my Christmas Wish). Thank you.

Nice location but basic accommodations had not been checked over prior to our arrival.

Nice location. Liked the woodsy area near the Dells.Owner responsive, maintenance man and woman that came were pleasant. Nice kitchenI will just list the things that went wrong for usSewer smell. Even with the 5 air freshners that were in basement closet.5th bedroom not useable because of smell plus if smell was not there, beds not suitable for two adults.Mouse droppings in pull out couch.Lightbulbs burned out. Great stay!

The cabin was very nice, cozy and clean. Very comfortable for all of us. Enjoyed fun basement activities and close by attractions and hikes. Owners are very nice

Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a fabulous time! Some things that you may be unaware of; recyclables were nearly full, not leaving much room for ours. Missing a can opener and potato peeler. Looks like you may have a water leak in the roof near the upstairs bedroom on the roof in the hallway near the bedroom on the Left - looks like there is mold forming. We had a great time and would definitely consider rebooking!!

Much better than a hotel

Being able to accommodate a large group under one roof was great. Lots to do with the game room, tvs everywhere to watch the Packers and a large fire pit for smores and conversation. We spent a ton of time on the spacious front porch, especially with little ones. Location was peaci, but close enough to all the Wis Dells activities!

A few problems

We had a few problems with the plumbing and an appliance. I didn’t call the host because nothing was critical but I should have let the host know as soon as any problem occurred. We only had a short time st the home so wasn’t looking forward to dealing with bringing in people during our stay. When I informed the host.he was quite willing to fix the problems.

Best family vacation ever!

Six adults and three kids from 6 to 9 years. We were all awed by the home. A rare instance that online pictures couldn't capture how wonderful this home was. Three floors to spread out and several comfy places for the family to hang out and play games from board games to silly charades. The table had plenty of room for all of us and the kitchen was spacious enough for several of us to cook together. It was located near all the fun activities we had planned. With the extreme heat it was nice to go have an adventure and return to the comfortable air conditioned house to recharge! The surrounding yard and woods were beautiful even though the weather had helped to create a few more skitters than usual but none of the kids were carried away by them and lots of Off made it tolerable. The deck was great but the front porch was incredible. So spacious with lovely seating including a porch swing and the views were incomparable! These video game children never played one game nor did we even turn one the many TV's on because there was so much else to do in the house including the entertainment options in the game room. My husband and I are already considering returning with some couple friends since there plenty of sleeping accommodations. One extra surprise was finding nearby New Port Beach which was a lovely place to swim and play. We had gone on the Ducks earlier in the day and saw it on our river cruise and couldn't wait to go there later in the day. It was an absolute 10!

Awesome home and location

We were looking for a place where the whole family could stay during a family reunion. This property did not disappoint. It sits back off the road down actree lined asphalt drive. There was only one neighbor visible and truth be told, did not see anyone there the entire weekend. The spacious home provided ample area to visit, laugh and catch up on family history. We cooked meals, played cards and enjoyed each others company. We were a short distance from Wisconsin Dells and a wide variety of entertainment and restaurants. We would most definitely stay with Matt again.

Wisconsin getaway

Bear Cove Escape is in a great location. A short drive to many of the attractions in the area. Its a very nice residence tucked in a secluded area and I would recommend this place.

Perfect Getaway

The house is nestled in a wooded area that was far enough from the Dells to not feel busy, but it was close enough when we wanted to go and do things (water park, hiking state parks, mini golfing, etc). The kids loved the basement and all it had to offer, the adults loved the covered front porch to sit and take it the beautiful surroundings. Loved our week and would definitely stay again!

Enjoyed our stay

House was very clean and nicely decorated. Lots of space and everything needed was there. Game room has some wear and tear - but that's to be expected with a rental. Kids could not get enough of it and spent all free time playing pool, ping pong and air hockey. Property is big and wooded - very quiet neighborhood. Spent a lot of time in the Dells which was an easy 10-15 minute drive to everything. Overall had a great time and would recommend this house!

Family Spring Break

Great place to stay for our family of 6 + 2 small dogs. Lots of space to spread out and relax. Communication with host was outstanding. If we decide to return to the Dells, we will definitely book the Bear Cove Escape (hopefully it’s available)!

Early family Christmas

Just a great place and location for our family gathering. Located 10 min from Wisconsin Dells which gave us many options for activities and food. House and host were wonderful! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in the Dells area.
